MSNBC's online question of the day poll has it at 69% to 31% for a Taylor win.

I'll take Pickler with her honesty any day.

I never thought I would say anything nice about her but I agree. I still think her Calamari and saLmon was an act but she was pretty real after singing. Like you, I'll take that any day.

Is there anything about a new dance show or did I dream that?

Simon's show is VERY open-ended. Practically any talent is welcome to compete, including dance. I have no idea how such a competition would turn out. It may be a real stinkbomb.

Yes, I read that on The Star online that charges were dismissed.

(SJ, more teenage gang members forcing me to read tabloids. They are out of control in the Chicagoland area)

Are they barging into your home and putting you at gunpoint in front of your monitor?

:-)

I voted for McPhee. She looks way hotter in school bus yellow than Dubya.

They had a laptop with them in the grocery store parking lot. It was a nightmare.

2. I bet teenagers (girls especially), and their parents are the most relentless voters and they are entranced by Kat's beauty, her lovely voice, and her sweet, self-effacing demeanor. (My butt's too big, I can't breathe in this dress, and her honest self-appraisals)

Self effacing like, "You've been hard on me the last few weeks!" and pouting after criticism? That kind of self-effacing?

3. I think disgruntled Chris voters and disappointed Elliot voters will vote for Kat.

Disagree completely. Taylor and Elliot were very, very close and their respective fans appreciated the uniquness of their musical talent. Kat is very much the opposite. Perusing the Elliot boards on the AI site, the overwhelming majority were favoring Taylor.

Here's zabasearch's vote estimates for the finale last night. Strangely, they chose to compare those votes to the 2004 presidential election, which I think is just silly. Anyway, if they're right, Taylor won. :)

Wi-Fi at the grocery store? Your alibi is quickly unraveling. Fess up!

Do I need to sic Jack Bauer on you?

Did anyone catch Seacrest's show this morning with Taylor and Kat? The story goes that Taylor was asked if he voted and he said yes. Funny thing was he said he had been voting for Elliott.

Was this true or just another BS internet rumor? I would believe it die to the fact that E & T are good friends now. E's comments about Taylor after he left the show were far more friend oriented than what he said about Katharine.

There is a Starbucks in the grocery store. Don't they all have WiFi?? Please, God, let them all have WiFi!

Um, maybe they had a really, really, really long cord with them that I just didn't see? These are gang members! Devious, devious, tabloid reading gang members.

I did not hear that but I posted a pic of Taylor and Elliot hugging after last weeks show. It was not a polite "see ya buddy" hug. It was a good old fashioned embrace. I'll see if I can find the pic again. I believe they are quite close friends.

Wow...you and I got to know a completely different Kat this season! lol self effacing demeanor?? I missed that.

My teenage daughters don't care for Kat "she's phoney" but love Taylor because "he's cool".

"There are some things that bring auburn and Alabama folks together.... I always thought it was Tennessee. :)"

You are correct I suppose...I really don't know how Aubies feel about Tenn. One of my favorite Bama tee shirts says on the front "Bear Bryant is looking down...." and on the reverse "And he still hates Tennessee!"
