More Spoiler...

http://insider.tv.yahoo.com/celeb/4186/

Among the other surprises will be Katharine's duet with rock-opera singer MEAT LOAF. But that won't be all for pop princess McPhee.

"I'm doing lots," she revealed. "I have seven outfit changes. I couldn't be happier with just the fact that we get to have a celebration of the whole show, the whole season."

This morning in an interview with Brian Kilmeade, fox, Taylor made a comment which I taped and have relistened to several times...he said, "I get to play the harmonica........". I can only assume that he was referring to tonight!

Wonder what he will paly it to? Anyone heard who he will be singing with. I've heard numerous stars for everyone else but no one lined up with Taylor.

Doesn't that picture of Taylor and E say it all.

There was some serious bonding this year. I don't remember any such thing last year.

Okay okay okay, don't shoot.

I have a couple of minutes to pop on line and scan thru the posts.

I thought his post would never end.

I promise to be nicer to him next year.

Elliott had said in his exit interview that he and Taylor had formed a friendship that will last a lifetime.
The two shared the same apartment during the competition and there's bound to be close relationships formed that way. I mean me and my college room mate are still close a decade after our graduation.

That says it all.

I hope for the girl's sake they get a girl's bus and a boy's bus. Something just tells me that all those guys shoved on a tour bus together is going to stink like dorm room.

To each her own, one of them is going to win, and both of them will have successful careers.

Isn't this light hearted distraction from politics fun for a change?

Paula will be under the influence

She is usually her drunkest at the finale. She usually gives a rambling speech to the contestants about how they are stars and no one can take that away from them. It a riot!

FYI..and enjoyment...here's the "money quote" from today's NY POST ( owned by Murdock, who owns Fox; and they have really been promoting AI in the paper) page 3 story by columnist Linda Stasi..

"Next up was Hicks wearing perhaps the most tragic fashion choice imaginable: A purple velvet jacket and - dear God! - were those capezios on his feet or maybe the missing boots from "Romancing the Stone?" (Note: I don't get that reference. Can someone please explain?) The look came off more like butler to a drag queen than soulman....."

And don't forget....Ignore all the attention paid to Kat's parents..Tonight we get to see the TV debut of the BIG GHERKIN..Pickler's ex-con dad...who's supposedly been allowed by the NC parole board to travel to LA to see his daugfhter perform..

Birmingham's WorkPlay theater is a really good place for performers. They have a lot of locals and some lesser known talent that come there to have jam sessions. I really wish AI would consider have B'ham on their venue of places for auditions next season because there is an amazing amount of talent locally.

Thanks for the article. :)

THe Dial Idol theory is that when you encounter a busy signal then someone else is getting through. Therefore the more busy signals you get, the more people are voting for them.......assuming equal bandwidth......

The deal I showed had more than double the busy signals for Taylor and only 75% of the vote getting through compared to Kat. If those statistics are correct, that would be a big fix regarding the outcome.

I agree with you. I dont' believe she has a lot of confidence either. I imagine it is because of her mother trying to make her the "best" - always excellent but could be better type of thing. Even then the therapy thing is weird to me (being a country gal) I'm a mom also. Our baby is 27 and has two babies (2 & 3) and another due shortly. Our oldest is 36. I did have our oldest when I was only 3 though. ;)
