This is the sentence that made me go “hey, WTH?”:
‘Should we stop sending food to our soldiers, or give up entirely on our flagging education system?’

Funny how the Eurotards lecture us over and over again, and they’re all going broke.
Greece.
Ireland.
I hear Spain and Portugal are right around the corner.

Wyatt Earp: All right, Clanton... you called down the thunder, well now you’ve got it! You see that?
[pulls open his coat, revealing a badge]
Wyatt Earp: It says United States Marshal!
Ike Clanton: [terrified, pleading] Wyatt, please, I...
Wyatt Earp: [referring to Stilwell, laying dead] Take a good look at him, Ike... ‘cause that’s how you’re gonna end up!
[shoves Ike down roughly with his boot]
Wyatt Earp: The Cowboys are finished, you understand? I see a red sash, I kill the man wearin’ it!
[lets Ike up to run for his life]
Wyatt Earp: So run, you cur... RUN! Tell all the other curs the law’s comin’!
[shouts]
Wyatt Earp: You tell ‘em I’M coming... and hell’s coming with me, you hear?...
[louder]
Wyatt Earp: Hell’s coming with me!

Isnt it possible that some of the fine folks in Washington D.C. might want to raise taxes so they can take care of things like securing the country or educating your kids, and really have no intention of stopping
I’d say no - that idea is so implausible that it at least borders on impossible. (He actually lost me with “fine folks in Washington D.C.”)

The Constitution states that they will meet at least 1 time each year and specifies the date to begin (been changed). It says nothing about length of session.
The is nothing in law to prevent them for meeting 2-3 weeks in January and return to their home district for the rest of the year. I could sleep better each night knowing they were having a harder time colluding against the American Public in DC.
I telecommuted for 1-1/2 years and liked that arrangement very much. I was as productive as if I had been in the office.
About 15 years ago I first suggested this to a Pol in Oklahoma City. It made sense then, but now with the current technology it would be a no brainer.

The man we’re sending to DC lived in his office during his first term in Nancy Pelosi’s house. (06-08)

Sane people do not sink roots in DC.
It is a toxic environment.
Get the job done and come home.

America is in debt, but there are some things-- such as security, infrastructure, education, etc-- that we just can't afford not to buy. What exactly can we cut?If you are broke you buy nothing as you have no money. If you are broke and have good credit you can buy until your line of credit runs out.
Our line of credit is used up. What part of BROKE do you not understand?

"
I'd like to see more thoughts on this in your next book, or possibly in the remaining chapters of this book that I opted out of buying." One of the interesting things about progressives and liberals--other thna they lie a lot--is their penchant for forming final opinions without sufficient data to make an informed appraisal. The author of this hit piece showed he or she was just the typical 'leap to conclusion fromt he start' faux journalist with the quoted extraordinary jot of truth.
I did a book report at FR on Corsi's Obama book. I read the whole thing before writing a review. You would think a fool like the author of this perhaps Soros funded effort could at leaqst read the whole book, but of course that is not a typical liberal/progressive way now is it!
