Understandable. My suggestion is that, first, we get Obama out of office with a Republican, regardless. Then, take control of the Senate and get more seats in the House with the right people. The right people is the key. Then we have to control our states. With control of the states, you have control of Congress. By controlling the Congress, you have control over anyone in the Oval Office.

I agree. But I also think that after doing that, we need to go further and start looking for and promoting someone to primary (presumably Romney) *AND* letting anyone and everyone (especially the GOP) know that is our intent.

Ding, Ding, Ding

YES!

I wish I were king for a day, I can guarantee I would be better (in my opinion) than Mitt Romney, but then again I would not work hard every day for four years just to get a job that will make half of the country hate me.

I have learned with this election cycle that being president takes preparation. I think Marxist have been preparing for Obama to be president since he was born. McCain won the nomination because he was working on it for a long time and people owed him favors, I think Mitt learned that when he ran in 2008. The same thing happened to Ronald Reagan. He lost the first time around but learned that he had to work for fours prior to the nomination to have a chance at winning. If you want to be president you have to really want it badly, you have to be willing to give up everything else in your life to be able to have a chance at it. Thank Heavens Reagan learned this, are there any other conservatives who can learn it and do it?

If after a few months all you can do is complain that the other candidates cheated, had too much money or better press then you weren’t really ready.

We need a conservative who can learn the lessons that Romney learned. I wish Michelle Bachman would have done all the things that Mitt Romney did to win the nomination.

I don’t care for Mitt Romney only because he is too close to the center. I want someone so far to the right that the press will make fun of him. I want someone who loves the Constitution and loves to say he loves it and would do anything to protect it, all of it. While I don’t care much for Romney I do admire his hard work, organization and ability to raise money. I believe he will win the general. I hope he is not afraid to run to the right. I hope he has learned the things he has said he has learned in recent years about conservatism. I hope he is willing to promote my rights in the Bill of Rights.

If Michelle Bachman, Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich, Sarah Palin or Rick Santorum really want to be president then they need to start NOW for the 2016 or maybe 2020 race. I kind of wonder if that is what Palin is doing. Yes, it means hard work, it means money and it means you may get nothing for your hard work and money but if you don’t do it this way you won’t win the nomination.

I will vote Republican in the general this cycle, I am a Republican. I voted for both Bush’s and wasn’t crazy about either but you don’t always have the opportunity to vote for someone you are crazy about. I really couldn’t stand McCain and I voted for him. What we need to do is move the RINO’s out of the party or at least make them the minority and make them hold their noses when they have to vote for a Palin or Bachman.

There are NO RIGHT PEOPLE! Those Tea Party congressmen from the last election have given us police state legislation and go for anything totalitarian that comes down the pike. There are no RINOs up there. They are all totalitarians. There a very few exceptions and those are mostly on only one or two individual bills. Vote for who appears to be the best man but assume the worst because the worst will happen. If all the Best Men win then the worst may be drawn out a bit but it is still coming. NONE of these people will reduce anything. The best will load up the government with laws and rules and oppressions to keep us safe. The less-than-best will just go for total control as quickly as possible along with as much personal gain as they can promote..
