No argument here and I agree 100%. The VP Office really means nothing except for a few days after the pick is announced.
I’m just hoping that this is setting up Ryan, or another Conservative, for 2016.
I would venture to guess that Dick Cheney would laugh at your comment.
Paul Ryan will serve to enact a huge portion of what conservatives have been working toward. Ryan's public appearances and his relationships with Congress will be invaluable.
Gov. Romney picked a true conservative and one of the most qualified out there. It would be folly not to vote in favor of Ryan's blueprint which will be largely enacted after they get elected. Under Obama, millions would suffer greviously. I have no problem voting for the GOP ticket.
wish some on here would understand that.
Some are saying he will beat Biden in a debate, well so did Sarah.
I have to ask does Ryan bring FL into play , how about VA?
Will hispanics now vote more for us, how about single women, will CO , NM, ?
Hell will he even give us WI not that we need that to win so long as we get CO,FL,NM,VA,IN, NC
so far no one has answered that except maybe one person last night who said to me who gives a crap about FL, SIGH.
“The VP Office really means nothing except for a few days after the pick is announced.”
Really? Because Lyndon Johnson was picked for VP, we got the biggest dose of socialism ever foisted on the U.S.
This old stuff of “I won’t vote for Romney because he is not perfect” is just bad citizenship, pure and simple. This ain’t rocket science. If you think Obama is a better choice than Romney, then vote for Obama. Otherwise, vote for Romney.
Think again. There's too much 'water cooler' superficial talk going on. Ryan is an excellent choice. It means that Romney wanted someone who would understand the legislative network and has direct relationship established with the Congress, and on the most important subjects facing us.... Taxes, Entititlements and Govt Budget. People really need to appreciate the value that Romney has added to his potential administration. He can appoint Ryan to lead whatever Executive policy initiatives he wants to establish. That's a pretty powerful role, even more powerful than a Cabinet position, because they only 'administer' the President's policy. Come folks, take a deep breath, and put your mind to work here for goodness sake.
