The concerned conservatives feel that in a close election the ex-Mormons could lose the country for us and that they'd be okay with that because it would be better than a Mormon president. The concerned conservatives are not okay with that.
Both sides are suspicious that the other side may just be your garden variety Democrat wearing a mask. That the concerned conservatives are "Mitt-Bots" or "RINOS" is insulting, disgusting and infuriating.
Apparently it has been decided that Free Republic can do fine without the concerned conservatives or any conservatives who question or challenge the ex-Mormons.
Congratulations, ex-Mormons. You win.
That the concerned conservatives are “Mitt-Bots” or “RINOS” is insulting, disgusting and infuriating.
***Uh Huh, yeah right. The Principled Conservatives are being called “pro-obama” and stupid. And among those principled conservatives is the owner of the website. There are dozens of active attempts to separate principled conservatives from their conservative principles to vote for a lying baby-killing librul statist. Such activity is not conservative. It would be better for the concerned conservatives to actively convert 0bots to mittbots rather than continue to sow discord on this conservative website.
Besides your typical and all too normal personal attacks against us ex-mormons who choose to expose the doctrine, you now throw up a strawman about the election. You call yourself a “concerned conservative”. All in the mame of casting more stones at those of us you have some grudge with. Fail.
This moderator made it his personal mission to “punish” FReepers, thought police if you will. Using personal attacks, ad hominems, and vile, unsupported accusations is not “questioning or challenging” ex-mormons. I’ve not seen you or any of your cabal once actually attempt to rebut any information posted by an ex-mormon.
It’s all designed to do one thing and one thing only, destroy the credibility of the poster. Something you and many of your other shills have developed a penchant for.
No one I know of is looking to “win”, get it through that obtuse skull of yours. Debating the doctrines on the RF used to be an exercise in diligence, learning and patience.
But when one is constantly forced to defend themselves against the Alinsky Brigade present on FR and then have a mole in the moderator’s break room helping them out, the integrity is lost.
No Deb, the Alinsky Brigade was “winning”, but like all rat infestations, they usually get to bold and come out into the light of day and get caught.
No Deb, there are no “winners” here.
There are also LEGITIMATE AND CONCERNED conservatives
Did you notice at all that your so called “LEGITIMATE AND CONCERNED conservative” Willard has severely ignored the fact that there are multitudes of illegal aliens lining up to get AMNESTY ???
Your boy Wee Willie supposedly has his “hands tied”
What is that suppose to mean in all severeness ???
I gather we have a Chikin situation...
Only for MORMONs who, it seems, CANNOT stand up for their faith without calling folks bad names and accusing them falsely.
Ex-mos are a minority here, anyway.
KNOWLEDGEABLE and WILLING Christians expose and renounce the heresy of mormonISM all the time.
Why try to guilt trip ex-mos?
Oh Debby, your concern is noted.
For the fact it is SO one sided!!
That the concerned conservatives are "OBAMA-Bots" or "secret MUSLIMs" is insulting, disgusting and infuriating.
Good post Deb.
Agree with most points except I’m not concerned over the ex-Mormons; the issue that I have is that if this is supposed to be a conservative website, the religion of the candidate should not be a big issue, nor should it be an issue of the conservative him/herself.
Freedom OF religion, not freedom FROM religion. We need to act on this website as we would want a conservative government to.
Once we start turning people away from political conservatism based on their religion instead of conservative values, we are no better than the liberals.
Religious bigotism is very, very dangerous for conservatives. You get nothing gained from it, and can lose a ton.
And for all of those who do not understand how local TEA parties are working, it is from the bottom and local up, not top down. I think people are very, very confused on that.
My opinion: If the Religion forums are causing this much strife among conservatives and cannot mirror our own First Ammendment, then they need to go. There are plenty of places on the internet for people to discuss their religion among their own, or interfaith ones. There are very few forums for conservatives.
This place needs to be a bastion of conservatives and conservatism, not one of religious bigotry.
