Totalitarianism (or totalitarian rule) is a political system where the state holds total authority over the society and seeks to control all aspects of public and private life wherever necessary.
Not without about 150 million deaths at the hands of the willfully disarmed.

It basically means that the Feds will have to get everyone to participate. Somehow I don’t think that’s going to happen.
Of course the third party dreamers, Ron Paul Paulshiveks, and priestly robe self-styled prophet types will hear none of that.
It will happen, after all, you do not want to be seen as the Enemy of the State.
I think we are pretty much there Dude. At this point the question is how do we get the republic back?
It’s certainly headed in that direction. To those who say, “we already are”, come on, don’t be ridiculous. Go to North Korea and see how differently they live from how we do. But progressivism is step one on the path to totalitarian communism, and the progressives are firmly in charge of the national government right now.
Our best hope then IMHO is to defend the Constitution in its original design (as amended) as much as possible, which includes federalism as guaranteed under the 10th Amendment. Republicans, even conservative ones, are in firm control of more than half the states, and way more than half of the territory at the local level.
All of those places need to become/stay as free as possible given the constraints imposed by the federal government, and then we will just watch as people “vote with their feet”, just like they have for generations between Havana and Miami, or North and South Korean, or the Rust Belt and the Sun Belt, and even now from California to Texas.
As the blue states/areas begin to collapse upon themselves from losing all of their productive citizens, and turning the rest into government-dependent drones, the real battle then will be about how much money the federal government can rob from the productive citizens, states, places to stave off bankruptcy in the rest of the country. If the Republicans can keep a majority in the House and 40+ in the Senate, then it will be hard for the progressives to get much more of our money.
There is only one way now.
Secession.
To me it feels more like a Banana Republic. With an out of touch dictator party boy living his do as I say not as I do party life, massive cronyism and incompetence. Talking all the time about what needs to be done but being to lazy and to uninterested to even get done most of the wacko things that even his own side wants.
If the states and the counties say no, then all bets are off. Right now I’d say half the states or more would tell Zero to shove it.

1) Get voter ID, end same day registration, require residency to register to vote as well as proof of former address and verification that said voter is off the rolls of their former home state. In otherwards, end the Democrat fraud.
1) Get right-to-work in all states possible. Limit public union collective bargaining, make them pay for their fair share of health insurance and pension. End state collection of union dues. In otherwards, kill the Democrat, union funded ATM machine.
Other things are to use the courts to states maximum benefits, sharply limit federal grants to states and localities (to cut the strings and limit unfunded mandates), welfare reform, defund groups like Planned Parenthood. I’m sure there are many other ways to put the hurt on the Dem party while quarantining the Feds out of state business as much as possible.
To late to be asking the question. I say it already has.
Exactly. History repeats itself over and over. Monarchs/dictators/despots/warlords/proletariat will gain control once again, and the cycle WILL continue. The US was a brief repreive from that cycle.

I agree. The world is becoming increasingly populated and technology is becoming more sophisticated which neccesitiates a totalitarian state.

I submitted a post on September 26 of this year entitled, “Has America Been Defeated Without a Shot Being Fired?”. Since then our leaders in Washington have given themselves the power over citizens property and their money by way of controlling our financial institutions. All of America is outraged and calling it ‘socialism’ but, I believe, it goes much deeper and is more sinister than socialism. It is the first implementation of Communism.
Since President Reagan brought the Soviet Union to it’s knees by using their economic system against them, the Soviet Communists along with Communist China learned a valuable lesson and set upon their long term plans to bring down our Republic using the same method. First, they used the principles of Capitalism to enrich their countries; they are now more wealthy and powerful than ever.
Second, the Communists needed America to focus on a NEW enemy to divert attention from the real enemy so they used the ‘useful idiots’ of the radical members of Islam and the battle was on. We have spent billions upon billions on fighting their ‘useful idiots’ and have been draining our treasury while China and Russia kept theirs in reserve.
Third, the Communists needed our Republic to face a ‘crisis’, an economic crisis which would destroy the very foundation of America and they found some more ‘useful idiots’ within our own borders and within our own Congress. The democrat party has, for decades, played into the hands of our true enemy with socialist programs, which has caused massive infusion of taxpayer’s money all under the umbrella of ‘good intentions’.
Our education system has been destroyed and replaced with no more than training centers for future socialists, our economy has been destroyed replaced with Socialism, later to be redefined by it’s true name when the process is in it’s last stage. Our faith in our Republic and Capitalism has been destroyed at home and internationally. We are a divided nation fighting among ourselves. Our election system has been corrupted like never before in history. It is the perfect storm.
Fourth, to complete the final installation of Communism needed another ‘useful idiot’ and he needed to occupy the center of power of the world…the White House. This man has arisen from nowhere and has a mysterious past, which the propaganda machine of the ‘Free Press’ has promoted, glorified and validated as the savior of our country. This final step must become reality, at all costs, for them to achieve their goal. The election system has to be completely undermined and that process is now underway. As Stain once said, “It’s not, who votes that matters, it’s who counts the votes”.
Fifth, looking ahead if Barack Obama has risen to the most powerful position in the world, The useful idiot will implement his publicly announced goal of removing our last bastion of freedom, our military, from all fronts on Islamic terrorism. The Middle East will fall into uncontrollable chaos and will result in the death of the new democracies in the region.
Barack Obama will have, at his fingertips, the assets of our financial system, the banks, Wall Street, and the property of millions of Americans and absolute control over our nuclear weapons and the military.
The Soviet Union can the deal the another blow by reclaiming their formal power by invading all the former satellites counties, China backed by the newly empowered Soviet Union can take back Taiwan and all it’s wealth. The spread of Communism will engulf the world. The United States crippled by financial destruction, inner turmoil, a destroyed Republic and headed by devote socialist/communist will do nothing to stand in it’s way.
The ‘useful idiot’ in our White House will, at the onset, will express ‘deep concern’ and attempt to negotiate with the Soviet Union and China but in his mind’s eye; he envisions his promised goal of the Communist Leader of the Northern Hemisphere. His warning to John McCain and the public should not be taken lightly…”You don’t know what you are up against”.
The final days of the Republic will be realized when the country has been reduced to a nation with nothing left, a defeated nation left only with an echo running through our minds of …”How could we not see this coming?”
Oh yes, they can try to starve us out, but they’ll cut their own knees off in the process when all the tax dollars are gone. China will be a bigger worry at that point.
The Feds don’t have alot of options at this point and they know it. All the stars need to line up for them to do what they want.

With every failure of the secular humanist nihilistic government becomes a boost to the champions of the anti-nihilists, the specific nature and sequence of these failures are irrelevant to the ultimate outcome. A parallel to the US situation would have to be a takeover by totalitarianism of a country run by nihilists, such as the Weimar Republic and the Nazis.
The threat of Germany didn’t stop Stalin from starving a million Ukrainians.
Not if I can help it. Of course, we do not have the support of the government or any political party on this, so it is up to us.
I’m not even sure how you could consider that a historical parallel. Two completely different societies, time periods, and situations.
Bottom line is - we are in uncharted waters. I can’t tell you what will happen any more than anyone else. History isn’t much of a guide here.
The best you can do here is to put yourself, your community, your county, and your state in the strongest position possible to withstand the federal storm that is to come.
We’re almost there. In fact, we have become the America Ayn Rand described toward the end of Atlas Shrugged; corrupt, bloated government, union thugs, shortages of materials, anti-business climate, phony climate concern. The only thing we are missing is Galt’s Gulch.
If zero bypasses Congress with another EO to nullify the Second Amendment (which is within the realm of possibility for him), it is questionable how gun owning Americans will act. It is even questionable how NON gun owning Americans will act. So far, despite the outrages and clear violations of both the Constitution and the law by this president, all we seem to do is run to our keyboards and vent our spleens on FR.
There are an abundance of charges that could be brought against zero to impeach him and remove him from office, but no one is going to. In this climate of fear and totalitarianism, zero knows that he is untouchable and can do as he pleases. There simply is no outrage, no anger and no action to restore this nation to one of laws and not men.
We have become the antithesis of everything our Founding Fathers fought to avoid.
Precisely what will happen? That is likely unknowable.
But uncharted waters are still wet. Ships are still ships. People are still people. Winds are still winds. Passions are still passions. We can foresee the general trajectory, but not always the safe harbors and shoals.
The best you can do here is to put yourself, your community, your county, and your state in the strongest position possible to withstand the federal storm that is to come.
