I didn’t know ther was a religious forum. Now I will avoid it just as I avoid most religious posts. I say most and I rarely comment on those I check.

It's probably done more to change hearts and souls in the intended way than certain other patterns of posting, which I would wager seem to "change heart and souls" mostly by corrupting the speakers and repelling most everyone else. I am aware that correlation does not equal causation, that I shouldn't overgeneralize from a small sample, that because of trolling and other problems I shouldn't necessarily take stated religious affiliations at face value, and that everyone posting here (except for me, of course!) is imperfect--but I'd think twice about attending any church that certain posters seem to represent.
I don't remember having any prior interaction with you, but I'm sorry to see you go because of behavior on the Religion Forum. "If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain."

When I’ve done it, I’ve put in in there to let people know that it’s a general statement and not strictly an individual reply to just one Freeper. But it has never “done” anything.
If you don't want to be bothered; that should be the end of it.

It’s best to ignore the offensive, obnoxious morons and their threads, all, SHAMEFULLY in the name of Jesus.
People shouldn’t be following you from thread to thread just because you happen to fall under THEIR microscope.
But they have been known to do it. I find if I don’t answer some of the freaks here, they eventually leave me alone.
I try not to go on religious threads here for just that reason. They are always like that.
Come to think of it, Christians are mostly like that off of FR too, in my experience. Always trying to make out that their church or sect of Christianity is superior. I gather the same thing happens in within other religions as well.
It’s probably a good idea to avoid religious conversations entirely as much as possible.

Not entirely. I try to avoid them but people interject religion into many not overtly religious topics as well. It is very easy to get ambushed by some people.

It is still a great site. No one forces you to go to the religious forum, which involves bickering ON BOTH SIDES.
But if you want to go, go...
