More than that -- Rubio was one of the people who engineered the Gang of Eight amnesty bill; Cruz was one of the leaders of the fight against it.
It’s not Rubio why they are posting this garbage. Notice that nobody posting this story over and over again is defending Rubio. It’s an indefensible position. The point is to take out Cruz because...
It’s about Trump.
Think about it.
Some of the Trumpsters believe if they can tie Cruz to Rubio’s position on amnesty, that will damage Cruz enough to the point it would supposedly leave Trump as the only anti-amnesty, pro-deportation candidate in the race.
The Rubio camp tried to go down this slippery path that exposed Rubio Tuesday night. If they had a choice and were smart, the Rubio camp would be cutting off all attacks against Cruz on the subject because even if they somehow damage Cruz with the lies, they have to know any lost votes for Cruz wouldn’t end up with Rubio, they would end up flowing to Trump.
Hence all the various threads on the same subject posted largely by Trump supporters.
Which he denied was a poison pill amendment.
Of course it was, but he lacked the integrity to so state at the time.
Those wanting an alternative to Washington politicians need to look elsewhere.

Yes, was about to reply to you on another thread, but the faction of Trumpkins attacking Cruz IMO seem to be made up of far left liberal-atarians, bitter Paulbots and many Obamabot democraps trying to sully Cruz integrity in the primary. IMO Trumps actual Republican support is very low, but the small faction of very passionate online bloggers here on FR and other places are very active.
