Ironically they appear to embrace Islam, a religious cult that openly says it’s okay to use non believers to advance their cult dominance, but when they are done with them they will turn the leftists who don’t embrace Islam (and even if they do) into slaves or a paycheck. I didn’t read this article because I didn’t have to. I already know exactly what it will say. Which is sad because there was a time when the New Republic was an interesting and enjoyable magazine to read. Sure it leaned Left but it was iconoclastic, well-written and unpredictable. But today, as with so many publication on the Left you are never surprised by what you read.
