I understand your frustrations and I realize I got your responses mixed up with JohnyBoy’s comments on the collapse of the USSR.
The Soviet Empire and today’s Russia “Federation” is collapsing from within precisely due to hyper-centralization and toxic sense of entitlement to empire.
We need stronger 50 states and individual parts, but we also have much to gain from NATO and strong alliances with S.Korea/Japan, etc...provided our allies pull their equal weight and be strong in of themselves also. So that even our international alliances are more of a federation.
Our alliances weaken us. They charge of huge tariffs and we let them into out market duty free. This has been devastating. That’s the thanks we get for protecting the world F them all. Parasites.
Yes well Trump is working on getting these alliances to work for rather than against us. I think its better than pulling out outright. “AMERICA First” also means protecting our interests internationally.
At this point we have no interests internationally. They are all tics.
