IMO Melania made mistakes in the past, mistakes that she most likely would like to take back.

In the late 70s a friend bought tickets to a Bette Midler performance on Broadway and offered them to me and my cousin. I knew nothing, really, of Midller but my cousin refused the tickets, saying Midler was a pig. So I guess not much has happened in 40 years.

She’s also hardly recognizable now from her ridiculously excessive recent plastic surgery. The original layer of ugly is still there.
Melania is much easier on the eyes than ol’ Bat Midler.
In my MUCH younger days, when I was considerably less aware, I actually liked ol’ Bette Midler.
Her performance in The Rose was the high point of her career.
Can’t recall anything she did after that...except something about witches.
