It’s true that Midler started her career in gay bathhouses.
Her piano player in the bathhouses? None other than Barry Manilow.
For anyone who thought that pretty girls were exaggerating when they claimed that they were bullied by other women for being pretty, Bett just proved the point. Never-pretty old woman dumping on a youthful, drop-dead gorgeous woman.
Bette Midler is just a common, nasty pig.

I had a friend who in the seventies sort of based herself on the Midler persons.
She thought she was edgy.
The rest of us thought she was embarrassing.
Bette Midler has a bit of a wide-open past herself, to be casting any aspersions. She might want to consider what she’d think of herself, in the very unlikely event that anyone bothers to do a detailed exposé.
Moo said Barry was stinky. What was the fumigation bill for the WH and AF-1?
One could be tempted to say that they’d have to clean up Air Force One after viewing that, too, but not in the same way as she meant it.
But that wouldn’t be nice so I won’t say it.
