I agree. That is the same thing the Greens/pro-drug crowd are saying as the LP tries to cozy up to the them. They will take the LP support but bash them behind their backs. Meanwhile the LP's bash the republicans right and left. Go figure.

Placing an arbitrary age such as 18 for majority status is placing your morals on others. I thought you were against legislating morality.

WRONG! 18 is about the average age where an individual has the ability to provide for himself/herself. Before this age is very questionable, which can result in a burden on individuals in the form of higher taxes to pay for welfare or other subsidies. This isn't about morality, it is about self-protection from plundering.

Context is your problem once again. If you happen to find the Ark of the Covenant (good luck) don't bring a flame near it or the Ark will engulf and devour you in flame. 'Hold no candle to his light' is the intended meaning and a simple rule of the tabernacle. Just as it was not to be touched, either.
