"Dear PJ-Comix---Thank you for submitting the DUmmie FUnnies book project idea to us. Your Blog is incredibly funny and everybody in our office is still laughing over the material you have there. We have no doubt that a DUmmie FUnnies book (with CD-ROM for the related comix stories) would be a huge bestseller because of its enormous appeal to people who don't normally read books with a political theme..."
Now at this point in my dream I am running into the kitchen to pull a bottle of champaign out of the fridge to celebrate my book deal. However, when I returned to the computer, I read the rest of this e-mail...
"...Unfortunately we feel that the wide appeal of a DUmmie FUnnies book would have an inordinate influence on the outcome of the 2006 elections. Since this publishing company has a policy of not influencing elections, we must regretfully decline from publishing your book. Thank you for your submission."
And you know something? That dream sequence statement is CORRECT. A DUmmie FUnnies book WOULD have an impact on the 2006 election since it would reveal the true nature of the DUmmies and their DUmmiecrat allies to the general public. But would that be a bad thing?
So, Mary Matalin, if you are interested in publishing a DUmmie FUnnies book (with CD-ROM insert for related comix stories) that would not only be a bestseller but also have a big impact on the next election, please contact me at: PJ-Comix.
I didn't plan on getting a DUFU edition out this early but the thrift store STILL hasnn't gotten its act together on getting the books out on the shelves. Therefore, depending on my schedule there might still be another DUFU edition out later today.
Let me know if you want on the DUmmie FUnnies PING List.
PING!

Ahhhh! DUFU is back--it was a loooong weekend without the hilarity of the DUmmies imploding!

GRRRR...
BTTT
I BELIEIVE! You will get a book deal.
that's why I gave it some "slop" either way...
Thanx. Sorry about the late start today but I had to check out the thrift store this AM for books. They PROMISED that the new book guy there would DEFINITELY have new books out first thing in the morning. However, AGAIN he lazed off so I made the trip for nothing.
Oh, and I had a looooong weekend with my girlfriend yakking my ear off about spending too much time on the DUmmie FUnnies. Sheesh! She barely even knows what the DUmmie FUnnies are all about (she calls them "Los Chistes") due to her lack of English but that doesn't stop her from lecturing me about my devotion to "Los Chistes." If I get the DUFU book deal going that should get her to quit bugging me about the time spent DUFUing but, until then, I have to put up with a lot of grief on this topic.
We actually are happy. We are on top of the world. But there is unfinished business. We have to destroy all of the world's terrorists as well as the DemocRATic Party. Then, we will not just be happy, we will have reached Nirvana and total inner peace.
<<as a member of Free Republic, a Republican, and a Bush-voter, am utterly content at the moment; mellow, laid back, not bothered at all.
Sure, there's some problems, but there's a whole lot of good things, and besides, no one or nothing is perfect anyway.
<<am utterly content.
I sure hope I have better luck than President Kerry.
Hey DUmmies, check this out:

Election 2004, it just keeps on giving & giving~
Schadenfreude!!!
hmmm actually I feel quite content.
good thing we are NOT depressed--it leaves more Prozac for the DUmmies.
But then over in DUmmieland, I find this, which is pretty much representative of the "average" DUmmie:
This is the "average" DUmmie.
Please notice the anger in the eyes, the lips pursed in righteous indignation, the inner sadness that one is part of a species becoming extinct.
PJ, if I were to post a reply to that thread explaining why I'm NOT unhappy, I'd be banned within 2.4 seconds.
The reason I am overall happy is because I know if the Dems owned all the aforementioned, it would be a lot worse. And then there is the fact that my happiness in life doesn't hinge on who is in office.
I'm fairly contented, but I won't be truly happy until the world is free of terrorists, despots, socialism, communism and DUmmies. I can give up a little humor in my life for some concentrated sanity.
