Once again, they show how crazy they are. I'm very happy. Yes, I do get frustrated at some things but I don't let it control my life. They really need to get a life. Life is very fulfilling if you choose to make it so.

The only real unhappiness I've felt in the past few months has not been directed at the DUmmiecrats. Instead it was the result of the DUmmie FUnnies book proposal being rejected by Regnery. And the more I think about that rejection the more I'm convinced that it was due to the style of the DUmmie FUnnies. UNLIKE most other conservative material, the DUFUs has a common touch appeal. Most conservative books seem they were written with the author listening to Bach music while sipping expensive brandy. The DUFUs constantly references popular culture and appeals to the average Joe.

BTW, I have noticed this conservative discomfort with popular culture. Do they think it is "vulgar?" I actually do personally know a conservative person very high up in D.C. and he is VERY UNCOMFORTABLE with the DUFUs from that cigar smoking beaver to its very tone. Yeah, well tough, Mr. Conservative but the fact is the AVERAGE person is BORED with politics. A DUmmie FUnnies book (with CD-ROM insert for related comix stories) would definitely appeal to the general public and my Mr. Conservative-Holier-Than-Thou "friend" be damned.

And what is it with this hostility to popular culture by certain conservatives? I have noticed this antipathy and don't quite get it. Thus we have Regnery rejecting the DUFU book idea.

Well, the DUmmie FUnnies has as its cover-girl the much-decorated-much-bodied DUmmie "Faye" and its poster-boy the cherubic choleric chubby DUmmie Andy Stephenson, and its pundit the DUmmie "William Pitt"--but this one seems most representative of all the rogues in the DUmmies' rogues' gallery.

There is a lot of psychology in that face.

However, no one, even a DUmmie, is a "lost cause," lost to humanity. It is my opinion that if this "typical" DUmmie looked into the real reasons for his anger and rage and hostility (probably something that happened in childhood), and dealt with THAT--instead of misdirecting his anger and rage and hostility against those who have done him no harm--he might become happy.

As with the DUmmie "Faye," if he learned to direct his hostility into the proper channels--rather than against George Bush and inevitably against himself--he might lose some weight without even trying (the pounds will melt away as if by magic), get a decent haircut (for the record I myself have long hair, but nothing like that; not to mention that I still have ALL my hair), and become content and fulfilled.

There is a lot of psychology in that face.

I meant SOME conservatives seem antagonistic towards popular culture. Mr. Conservative-Holier-Than-Thou can't even enjoy himself. He has to make sure in advance that movies he goes to don't have "nasty words." Plus forget about even enjoying a brewski or demon rum. That's absolutely taboo. And the weird thing is this guy isn't avoiding this stuff because of his own antipathy, it is more to do with his beloved "image." Well, sorry for the rant but it pisses me off that this fear of appearing "vulgar" among a certain element of conservatives is hurting the chances of the DUFUs being published.

As to the DUmmies. I have nothing but WARM feelings for you folks. How can I be UNHAPPY with my DUmmie Ants who are providing me with such WONDERFUL material. And if the DUmmie FUnnies book is published, I invite all the DUmmies to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse to watch me dine on the dime earned from their insanity.
