If the guy is truly sick I feel bad for him and his family no matter how misguided he may be.

But giving $50,000 to someone who has no health insurance for an operation that may extend his life by a few years at best seems to be a misguided use for that money.

Don't they have Iraqi 'Minutemen' that need 'resistance' funding? It seems that blowing $50,000 on a temporary fix on an individual whom was too lackadaisical and irresponsible to take care of his own health, is pure folly. What about the poor?! What about the starving children!? What about the environment?!

If it's a scam it's perfect.

I wasn't aware it was worth anyone's while to check all of my comments "in the forum"--it gets nasty, if one has to find the DUmmie comments buried among the savage bloody comments with the eastern Europeans, and the overly-polite comments with the Norwegians (both groups for which of course I really have a great deal of affection).

Why would a man from Seattle go all the way to Baltimore for cancer surgery? Johns Hopkins is a great teaching hospital, but it is known for many other programs more than it is known for its cancer work. Is he using a name he thought all the DUmmies whould know and respect?

If he flew from Seattle to Baltimore he flew over a lot of great cancer hospitals.... many in RED states.

Is this effort registered as a charity allowed to publicly solicit money?

Why is he using a post office box, rather than a street address? Who does the MC/Visa merchant account belong to? To allow your merchant account to be used for something other than the listed business of the merchant is fraud.

Not accusing, but "Inquiring Minds," you know.
