The Serbs are the only ones worth saving in the entire former Yugoslavia. They are also the most tolerant of other ethnic groups, historically as well as today.

Hmm, I'm always a little bit leery of comments identifying one particular group as "the one ones worth saving."

I'm NOT trying to paint a picture of the Bosnians as heroic rebels, or oppressed victims, or whatever. All I'm saying is that Serbian troops DID attack Bosnia-Herzogovina in a REALLY HORRIFIC WAY. This ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT make the Bosnians the "good guys" - but I think stopping the Serbs was the right call on the part of NATO and the US.

That's why is said,"Your lack of depth about the history of that region is what is troubling." I should add, that also includes recent history.

You are free to believe whatever you want – this is reality.

one of Britain's most-respected (and formerly pro-European) establishment figures, former foreign secretary Lord Carrington, launched an unprecedented attack on the EU and the damage it was causing. He laid the blame for the Bosnian civil war squarely at the door of the post-Maastricht European Union, which in a desperate attempt to prove it had a common foreign policy, rushed headlong into the recognition of Bosnia with the disastrous results now seen. Indeed he went further, arguing that "international involvement . . . has caused more, and greatly prolonged, the suffering of the Yugoslavs, meant more ethnic cleansing and more casualties.

Your "unbiased" Web site actors (UN liberals who like to make liberal films, like the liberals do in Iraq) -- The crew

Sorry. Got anything other than liberal film makers? Iraq has millions of them, but that doesn't mean their films show the true story.

Let's for forget for one minute that the Serbs brought down one of our planes, and were dancing over the wreckage of another one that crashed! And please don't try to characterize the shootdown and the celebration as "legitimate acts of resistance" against "American aggression." That would be in the same veins as defending the tribal militias and terrorists in Al Anbar.

The Serbs saw a chance to extend their dominion over a MIXED ETHNICITY terrority. Let me stress AGAIN that the Serbian invasion does not make the Bosnian Muslims the good guys. I'll say it loud and clear: The Bosnian Muslim fighters are a bunch of thugs and goons. For good measure I'll add: The KLA are a bunch of drug runners and murderers. But you can't let your antipathy toward Clinton and Muslims lead you to endorse the Serbian military campaigns. They were just plain bad.

You're absolutely right about the "recent history" in the region - as soon as the Bosnian and Albanian Kosovars get some breathing room, they turned around on the Serbs in vicious acts of terrorism and brutality. We've been seeing that for years.

I would be interested in your view of the Yugoslav Wars. In your view, did the Serbs launch any incursion into multi-ethnic regions with the aim of driving out other militias? Or were they parked at home this whole time, being killed by Muslims?

Yeah it looks like bubba's islamic Balkan state is well and exporting terrorism throughout Europe as planned.

If there has ever been a more stupid US foreign policy I'm unaware of it.

I would be interested in your view of the Yugoslav Wars.

This was dealt with great detail over the years on this site. It started with Slovenia and Croatia. I really don't have time to give you much, so I will attempt to be concise and may miss some major points. So Here is the Gist.

When Croatia declared Independence, the first nation to recognize them as an independent nation was Germany. And since over 700,000 Serbs were slaughters in NAZI Croatian and Albanian death camps, they as you might image went ape over a 3rd German/Croatian alliance.

Now while the Croatians and Serbs are ethnically identical (same language, different alphabet), the Croatians are not multi-culturally tolerant. So the drove the Serbs out of the Krajina which resulted in 300,000 Serbs absorbed into Serbian refugee camps...

Anyway the Serbs are the only ones that have any multicultural tolerance because of historical and geographical reasons. Even today Serbia is only around 65% Serbian, as was Kososvo, ( the historical Serbian Heartland,) before the WWII death camps. Check that percentage against their neighbors. Serbian Multiculturalism is strangely a cultural imperative for them, which Field marshal Tito used effectively to screw the Serbs and consolidate Yugoslavia after WWII.

Look, I really don't have time for this, it is over 1000 years of history to understand what happened in the early 20th century alone. Which is necessary to even have a clue about the Yugoslav wars. Either do your own history research or just take my word for it, the Serbs are the Good Guys, the Croats are ok, (but can be a pain with NAZI tendencies,) and The Albanians are pure evil. As you said,"You're absolutely right about the "recent history" in the region - as soon as the Bosnian and Albanian Kosovars get some breathing room, they turned around on the Serbs in vicious acts of terrorism and brutality. We've been seeing that for years." That should read centuries, not years.

Sadly you are 100% right its the state of the sorry partizan media. They aim to push their agenda and that means hiding any news which doesn't agree with their "world view".

You know like the fact Bill Clinton is the man most responsible for a islamic republic and terrorist launching pad in the Balkans.

I don't see how we could've let a thug like Milosevic continue his bloody rampage...

If it wasn't for Clinton's bombing of Kosovo, the Serbs would have gotten rid of Milosevic themselves long ago. Instead, his trial in the Hague lingers on and on and the islamofascists have full reign in Kosovo and most of Bosnia.

Still, when Bosnia-Herzogovina declared independence, it was the Serbs who invaded them.

There was no invasion, the Serbs were already there since that was their home.

The evidence continues to accumulate. But the investigations (into BOTH London and Madrid) are not over yet. I hope that they unambiguously expose muslim "Bosnia" and KLA-controlled "provisionally independent" Kosovo for exactly what they are!!!!

I could have been in London right now, but the meeting there was cancelled. When I'm in London, I typically use the Underground, and like most American (and Aussie, Canadian, New Zealander, etc.) visitors I love riding on the top of double-decker buses. We need to make taking such modes of transportation as safe as possible, by eliminating the sources of terrorist training, finance, and arms in Europe (such as "Bosnia" and KLA Kosovo) and here in North America!

There was no invasion, the Serbs were already there [in Bosnia] since that was their home.

That is most certainly true! One of my Serbian friends, who is very American (born in Chicago, etc.) was recently visiting her relatives in Bosnia, since that is where her ancestors came from.

Your knowledge of Balkan history leaves a lot to be desired.

You must have not read my post since I said as pertaining to a brief background of the Yugoslav wars,"I will attempt to be concise and may miss some major points"

As Concerning Balkan history I said"Look, I really don't have time for this, it is over 1000 years of history to understand what happened in the early 20th century alone."

Since I quickly wrote only five short paragraphs, clearly biased to my point, I would have to ask do you always make such judgments based on so clearly limited information? I bet you do. Since you think you know so much about Balkan History, you know that their are many players in a tangled history. But the one thing that stands out, is that the Muslime Ottomans and their surrogate Albanians were just plain evil.
