There is now a cryptic ANNOUNCEMENT on Mike Malloy's website:
MIKE MALLOY FIRED BY AIR AMERICA RADIO
There will be no Mike Malloy program today - or any day - on Air America Radio as we have been terminated. We are as shocked as you are. We are told its a financial decision.
As a result there is great mourning in the Leftist blogosphere as you can see in this DUmmie THREAD posted by Mrs. Mike Malloy titled, "Mike Malloy Fired from Air America Radio." Joining in the mourning process are the Daily Kos KOmmies with a THREAD titled, "BREAKING: Air America Does It Again - Mike Malloy FIRED." The amazing thing here is that even though many leftists have been ANNOYED by Al Franken or irritated by Randi Rhodes, they all liked Mike Malloy. So does this sound like the actions of a thriving radio network or the work of desperate cost cutting in order to afford the overinflated salaries of Franken and Rhodes? I will leave that speculation for later but right now let us join the DUmmies and KOmmies as they mourn the lost of Malloy in Bolshevik Red while the commentary of your humble correspondent, watching Air America sinking ever faster in the ratings, is in the [brackets]:

This is Kathy Bay Malloy and we just got news that as of this minute we've been terminated by Air America Radio.
[Mike's salary was needed to pay for Al Franken's private jet fuel expenses.]
We don't have all the details yet, but got a tip from someone who'd seen the new network lineup that we weren't included after all. We just had that confirmed by one of the suits a few minutes ago. We're told that its a financial decision.
[Al and Randi's knick-knacks don't come cheap.]

The corporate spin-doctors have some kind of lever with the advertisers at AAR and are trying to marginalize and splinter the rest of us. All is okay with whatever but just be aware how successful AAR had become in so short of a time.
