And yet they're still whining about it like it was some kind of Rovian trick.

The left never settles for half-measures. It could have been edited to one hour and they'd still complain that it aired at all.

it's tough to get a good google bomb going when all 12 of the DUmmies that actually have posting priviliges are the only ones participating..

Heh, no kidding! And a Google Bombing doesn't even involve leaving your keyboard. That's right up DUmmie alley!

It must be the government. Who else would use 767's as detonators?

Great line!

On top of that, the Reagan movie was opposed by conservative commentators and grassroots resistance. Not a single Republican "official," sitting in office or otherwise, said a word about the Reagan film. The opposition to it was entirely from The People.

Compare that to the opposition to Path: Bill Clinton, the DNC, Sandy Burglar... it was all top-down.

Oh, and on top of that, one had some political relevance and the other was a blatant smear job on a dying man.

I'd bet that the DUmmies who buy LIHOP & MIHOP were too busy hating Bush to honor "his" victims, and the DUmmies who don't buy LIHOP & MIHOP were to busy hating Bush to honor Al Qaeda's victims.

That said, while poking around the 2,996 project, I came across a wiccan DUer who had agreed to honor 9/11 victim Ken watson...but there's nothing on her blog about him that I can see.

An excellent point about the top-down stuff. One of Rush's callers put it this way: Bush called the NY Times about the terror tracking expose and said "Don't run that story, it's bad for the country." Bill Clinton called ABC and said, "Don't run that movie, it's bad for my image."

"The reason they won't sue can be summed up by one word: discovery."

BINGO! They much rather complain on TV and get noticed than file a complaint.

All aboard, DUmmies, for your roller coaster ride!

There were NO EDITS! Not from what we saw.

How the hell can you tell from what you SAW unless you saw the original, you moron?

Yesterday on C-SPAN, there was a small meeting at the National Press Club (sparsely attended). The speakers were a group of 9/11 conspiracy theorists -- some of them 9/11 family members, but I didn't notice any Jersey girls -- who were pressing for a new, REALLY non-partisan (read: get Bush) investigation of 9/11. I could only stomach it for a few minutes, but in the few minutes that I heard, one speaker kept referring to some post-9/11 Newsweek articles that raised questions that he claimed had never been satisfactorily answered by the 9/11 Commission. One of the family members, who had lost a daughter on 9/11, said that she was not a conspiracy theorist, she just had "questions" that hadn't been satisfactorily answered.

My sense is that the 9/11 Commission DID look at those questions, and DID answer their questions. The answers were just not what they wanted to hear or believe.

Good catch, Petronski. :-D

Amazing how my brain automatically added the missing "r" when I read that line. That's what happens when I read my own stuff...until AFTER I've pressed "Send". Arrrrgh!

That must have been before my time (?)
