I do remember the thread on NattieShea and playing that song, you said at the time that she understood it. To see how she has embraced the elements of that message brings tears to my eyes. Bravo NattieShea!

So I'd hoped. As a home schooling parent, I was seeking ways to bring my daughters into the world, instead of deriving their socialization exclusively via their media saturated peers. An opportunity like this to celebrate them as individuals has powerful portent.

I am posting this to you in the hope to inculcate such celebration of FReeper children here, to bring them into our community of ideas and discussion. For too often, we seek either to protect or overlook their observations of our world when it is better to involve them.

Such would have implications well beyond this forum. I entreat you to consider it.

Am not sure about this but it seems the rule here is that members are supposed to be over the age of 18 to post. Wasn’t there an exception made for your daughters to post with your guidance? Could contact the owner of the site and run it by him. It sounds like a good idea.

When NattieShea posted here for the first time at 8 years old I was sitting with her in my lap (which was fairly evident). Jim was certainly told (post 15) and she finally let on her age (post 26). I had no idea about that rule.

Maybe it was a rule at The Finest. Hopefully Jim can make it clear.
