Oh, and I just read your Dickens article too.

Keep it up!

Cheers, and Happy 4th to you too!

Wow! You young ladies did one heck of a job! Congratulations.

I must admit much ignorance in this subject. I’m afraid my public school education many moons ago doesn’t hold a candle to the depth and breadth of subject-matter you two are exposed to. I see certain success in your future, whatever you choose to pursue.

Carry_Okie: my sincere apologies for not having seen this ping in my inbox until now.
I am sure you are very proud, as you should be. Thank you for pinging me.

Being homeschooled, we were able to spend more time on it than most. Even then, it took us about a year.

You also had an excellent teacher. I admire his intellect greatly (to be honest, he makes my head spin—always challenging thought)
He has also helped my vocabulary. ;-)

(but don’t tell him, ok?)

Keep up the great work!

Sometimes it feels like I'm being hit over the head with a 2x4. :)

He has also helped my vocabulary

He had me take a Mcguffey's speller, but he is still way over my head.

I don't even know what that is, so ya got me beat! ;-)

Oh my! How you girls are maturing :) Great job!

Nattie, I don’t know if you remember me, but you and your sister, mother, and dad all had dinner at a Mexican restaurant when he came over to speak at the University of Washington... Ask your mom, I think we have a picture together. Can’t wait for you girls to take the world by storm! LOL Is it ready for you? Cheers, Libertina

Not exactly "middle school," is it? :-)

Would you be so kind as to forward it to Karl Duff; I'm sure his heart would be pleased.

I actually intend to send it to sereral people...(not sure Of course this doesn’t even showcase their math abilities! I’m not certain that all kids are this smart, your girls have two brilliant parents, but I am certain that if taught the same way, our publis school students would show the world that America is #1 and why!

BUMP for later reading... I see the two of you have been hard at work! It was enjoyable seeing you again in Port Orchard, even for a short time. Hmmm, I remembered you as kids, but you are both getting to be lovely young ladies :) Now about that paper - amazing what real education can do, isn't it? lol Kudos to Mr. & Mrs. Carry_Okie!
PS Publius, did you read this yet?
