There’s nothing dishonorable about what Petronski has posted.

Unless I’m wrong, I don’t believe Petronski lives in WV.

Only Republicans in WV change how WV does it.

Huckabee is McCain’s lackey. Imagine how pathetic that is. He won nothing, he merely shafted the vast majority of conservatives by depriving Romney of a win with a secret deal (collusion); he won with the scraps from McCain’s table...pathethic.

Well according to the exit polls as reported by NRO at least, Huckabee is sweeping the south, and it is far too early to count him out. He wants to go into the nomination with as many delegates as possible, and that is perfectly legit on his part.

>>What this really means is that Huckabee and McCain flaunted democracy with underhanded tricks.

What happened in West Virginia was as far a cry from democracy as I’ve seen. A complete and total sham.<<

You’ve never seen a three way race where #2 and #3 work together to try get ahead of #1?

I can live with deal making, it’s the whole pretense that they are not in league I find dishonest. Come out and be honest with the voters about what your deal is and if they still want to support you (Huck( knowing it’s a proxy vote for McCain, then so be it. Especially for a man running under the banner of “good Christian”

Well Christ did tell us we could discern by their fruits .... remember that sneer old Huckabee planted about the Mormon religion... Jesus and Satan being brothers.... looks like we saw a live act of that accusation with these two pretenders. So now the gloves are officially offf and let us see what old Hillary has in store for her good buddy McCain.

Oh get this as I type this that fake master Huckabee is on a recorded message claiming HE won West Virginia and I need to get out to vote for him..... j o k e is on him he sounded Drunk on McCain.....

really? The last comment I heard on Rush was that he had not made up his mind yet if he could support McCain if nominated. I don’t think Rush could..he is not a radio hack for the GOP and he knows his heart could not be in it.
Hugh Hewett says he will support McCain but look for his listeners to drop off if he sells himself to the GOP..just like when he supported Harriet Miers for Supreme Court Justice. The conservative argument to not vote for McCain is much more intellectually honest.

Foxnews just reported that in only nine out of 22 states tonite reporting results that its winner take all. Seems to me that what happened in WV is the norm in how states decide to award their delegates. If Romney loses in GA and some of those other southern states tonite is going to complain about Huckabee winning in them as well just cuz Romney doesn’t think Huckabee should be running for the Office of the Presidency. And what about Ron Paul? Paul’s been getting around five percent in nearly every state as I can tell.

Should Romney tell both Ron Paul and Huckabee to get out because neither of them are viable?

When and if Romney and his supporters do that is democracy at work?

"Illiterate Ignoramus?"

Who Huckabee? Well, he's a liberal populist, an illegal-alien coddler, and a bit of a hick, but I don't know about an illiterate ignoramus. I think Huckabee can read.

Somehow you determine that Slick Willard was entitled to those votes?

My little one. You HAVE missed something.

It wasn't votes that were stolen. It was electors that were voted for with the intention that they'd elect the person that the VOTERS elected them to vote for. Instead the electors, the McCain and Huckabee campaign's said FU to the voters and did whatever they wanted.

What a dip. Go pound sand.

"BTW, my other US Senator, Kyl, in AZ is very conservative and he voted to confirm her."

So?

Would you have voted to confirm her? That is what I asked.

For what it is worth, I can say emphatically NO I would not have voted to confirm her.

This is the stuff about politicians that is so disturbing. Conservative Senators voting to confirm ultra liberal judges. Back room deals abound.

You are apparently OK with that sort of thing, and I am not.

No. McCain has always been unfit in mind. I supported Fred, but he violated my first necessity in the President: Executive Experience. I think Senators are ill suited to the executive office; this leaves me with Huck and Mitt. Huck is Carter, so I’m stuck w/Mitt.

I will not vote for McCain.

I will stay home rather than vote for such dirty backroom deal makers. RINOS have taken over.

We need to turn our attention to withdrawing from the GOP and starting a 3rd party that actually represents US. “The Conservative Party.” The GOP is dead, long live Conservatives.

The voters sent the delegates there knowing that candidates are eliminated from later ballots if they fail a threshold, and that those delegates would then have to choose someone else. There is at least the possibility in the voter’s minds that their delegates might vote for a second choice on a later ballot.

Further, you haven’t established that delegates are BOUND to support their stated candidate if he is still available or at any other time.

Spare me your insults, if you can.

Fine you would have voted against confirming her. I sided with the other 53 US Senate Republicans in confirming.

That issue only would not be deciding factor on who I voted this election year.
