Lets show appreciation to Rush for his 20 years leading the fight against liberalism.
Congratulations for 20 years of fighting liberalism and being the Conservative light that we can follow.
Thanks to you for getting the ball rolling and to Rush for his continuing work.
I listened to Rush since his first week on WABC in NYC (local 10-12 show). He had me hooked instantly, between his Peacenik update, informative monologues, and sense of radio timing. More than once he made me feel like a few million listeners and I were in on an in-joke that the caller didn’t quite get. (The first time that happened was an older lady in NJ who was calling about cat leash laws, she blathered, and Rush kept on for most of the show, doing monologues and taking other calls before getting back to the cat lady.)
Rush, congratulations on 20 years of excellence in broadcasting! Not only have you saved AM radio, but you have given a voice to many who are shut out by the MSM. Thanks, and again, congratulations on an outstanding career.
Rush..here’s to another 20!
Here’s a great tribute video to Rush from one of his listeners, John Galt;
Congratulations on 20 years. Thank you for what you have done for our Conservative Movement. You are the Thomas Paine of our time. Thank you for 20 years of Common Sense.
Hey Rush I LOVE YOU! I have listened to you for as long as you have been broadcast in Houston. I always say “a day without Rush is like a day without sunshine”!
Now that July is here beating down on us, a little shade would be nice. Any how, I listen to you almost everyday, I don’t call but I am out here listening. Keep up the good work the US needs you!
Wow, 20 years Rush. Makes me realize just how old I am since I was around as a listener from just about the beginning. Congratulations and thanks for years of entertainment.
Thanks for all you do.
Here’s hoping for another 20!
A simple change that would radically change political debates would be to have each candidate supply one questioner. No moderator to preen for the audience. Stupid questions would reflect on the candidate asking them. No candidate could complain that his opponent was thrown softballs.
From a Rush Baby, go EL RUSHBO! Never stop, even if they try and silence you, I’ll follow you to the internet radio or even better, satilite!
Rush: Thanks for being a conservative voice to offset the
mountain of liberal media coverage.
Rush has made talk radio the success that it is today.
20 more years!
Wow! 20 years... time flies when listening to Rush.
Happy 20th Anniversary Rush!! and thanks for your service to our country. Here’s to another 20 years of Excellence in Broadcasting.
Thanks Rush. Keep up the great work.
Rush, can’t claim I was around at the beginning, but I did first hear you in the summer of ‘89. Godspeed for another 20 years; you’re the antidote to everything noxious about liberalism (which is, needless to say, everything about liberalism).
Rush Limbaugh—one of the greatest Americans—EVER!!!!
How about another 50 years, Rush. As long as you are there, I will be listening. And appreciating all you do. Thanks to you I have been able to smile daily when you’re on. The WORLD wouldn’t be the same without you.
Rush, I have been with you since the beginning. Thanks for 20 years of truth, news, inspiration, and entertainment. It's been a joy, and may God Bless you with many decades more.
And congratulations on your new contract! I was thrilled for two reasons: 1) you deserve it, and 2) I know it drives the Libtards even crazier than they already are.
Great job, Rush!
Thanks for creating a wonderful radio show!
Molly wants to know if she could be a fill-in call screener when Bo goes on vacation...
I was eating lunch in my car in 1988. When you first heard Rush he seemed incredibly egotistical until you had heard the show for a couple weeks and you started to catch on. Some of his opening monologues have been inspirational. He has opened up and expressed the feeling of Conservatives for more than 20 years.
End of the Universe in Climate Cooling Dittoes. Hopefully, as we all turn into one colossal dark cold nothingness Rush’s voice will still be traveling through space!
Everyone was milling about and he was there standing on the stage looking lost. I was going to go up and say hello but I didn't want to lose my place in the free beer line. Mrs. did however and recalls he was very polite, but again had that "what am I doing here" look.
As I listened to Rush I gradually got out of my lib leanings and also changed my mind about the rearing of my child.
My daughter at four was very intelligent and precocious. I was dead set against any special treatment for her or special classes. Again my mind changed and I was determined that she would rise to her full potential. So I made sure she did her homework and studied but most importantly I drove into her little brain the notion 'unless you're 100% positive you did your best effort, go back and do it again'. I was drawing on his mantra of demanding excellence in whatever you do, something that was never drilled into my mush-pot when I was growing up.
So she worked hard and by the time she got to high school she was number one in her class (of 450?). She went to Cal Berkeley and then afterwards joined the military and is now a doctor.
Rush changed my way of thinking, planted the seed, I did some weeding and now the military has a pretty smart doctor. I always wanted Rush to know this... maybe now he will. 22 years of listening and I still look forward to how he is going to agree with the way I think.
O Great Teacher! You know how to give it to the libs! Thanks for teaching us how! Congrats
For me, the transition began when I pulled the lever for President Reagan. I hold Rush personally responsible for my final transformation from liberal to conservative.
Thanks, Rush. I’ve been listening to you since September 11, 2001. My flight was re-routed to O’Hare and five strangers and I shared a rental car for a ten hour drive home. Had the person who’d secured the rental car not also picked the radio stations I’d not realized what I was missing. I now have a daily appointment with the radio for your broadcast. Congratulations on your twentieth, your new contract, and your next one!
Thank you, Mr. Limbaugh.
You brought us conservatives together. (Even the ones who don’t FReep.)
You gave us a voice, and you’ve never backed down, which has helped more of us than you can imagine, stand up for what is right.
(Even with half your brain tied behind your back!)
Rush, you single-handedly turned my young skull full of mush into the free-thinking conservative mind it is today. Prior to the internet, you were my primary source of information and news analysis.
God bless you, sir. Happy 20th.
THANK GOD FOR RUSH!
I first listened to Rush during the start of the First Gulf War. I was looking for up to date war news on the radio while working in the garage. A conservative who could discuss national issues and was funny! I was hooked! I was a Human Events subscriber during my college years, so Rush was an instant comrade in arms.
Happy 20th Anniversary Rush! Best wishes on the next 20 years!
You keep me sane. Thank you for all you do on the air and off. We love you. May the Lord bless you every day of your life.
Dittos Rush...you got me through election 2004.Thanks!
I have seen a lot of people on FR disparage Rush and I cannot understand it. He taught me the diff. between a liberal and conservative, he made me realize that I was and had always been a conservative. He pointed out and proved to me what a terrible party the dems. are. and the difference between a person that wants the best for this country and one that only wants personal power. I would still like to see a collective letter to Rush with FR user names.
There was once a man who lived on a flood plain. He ignored the warnings about the possible flooding and stayed in his home. Not only did the flood waters rise above the 2 foot dike he had constructed out of sandbags, but they rose to the eaves of his home. As he sat on his roof shivering in the rain, he prayed, God please help me. Please rescue me.
The very next instant he heard a man shouting. The man was a police officer and he was rowing a boat and offered to take him to higher ground. The stranded man refused and the policeman shook his head and rowed away. Again the man on the roof prayed! Just then a helicopter came along and a soldier was let down on a rope. He offered to strap the man into a harness and hoist him into the helicopter. Again the man refused and the helicopter flew away. Again the man prayed for God to make the flood go away. Just then a power boat came along and the person piloting the boat said, You look like you need help. The waters are rising fast and the dam is about to break. Again the man refused help.
A few minutes later, the dam broke and the man and most of his house were carried away by the raging torrent. Of course, the man was drowned. When he arrived in heaven he demanded an audience with God. When he talked to God face to face, he was very angry and said, see here God, I was always taught that you answer prayer and I prayed and you did not answer me.
God replied, What are you talking about. You prayed and I sent two boats and a helicopter. What more did you want?
Happy 20th Anniversary Rush!
Here’s looking forward to 20 more!
Thank God for you!
Rush, I first heard you in Portland Maine in 1992. I wanted to check out this Scourge of the World that all my leftist magazines were telling me about.
You spun my head around and this leftist feminist became and still is a radical conservative.
Rush is a true patriot and his intellect, capacity to understand the other side, principles and class serve in stark contrast to the Liberal machine.
Thank you, Rush!!!!!
Many thank-yous Rush for your sucessful radio show, plus all the memories of the past 20 years. Also I add, a very educational show. Congrats on 20 years of broadcasting excellence. Megadittos to you Rush. :) =^..^=
Biggirl :) =^..^=
You have saved my sanity more than once.
Your talent may be on loan from God, but you have been a blessing to the country and your listeners.
