I agree with you on that. I also believe the colb registration number was blacked out because such numbers are assigned in a chronological manner, so attempting to impose a number years after the fact will reveal a phony number or one out of sequence.
Since being a natural born citizen is a requirement to run for president, it should also be a requirement that any candidate submit documentation to prove that they are a natural born citizen.

Actually, I think its the other way around. If we had the number we could get a copy of the original certificate (apparently you can request information you already have) and it would become obvious that it was not his. Even it they refused to provide it, someone, sometime could check the number and discover it was someone else’s. That’s why it had to be blacked out. At one point, I thought it was to hide the fact that the certificate had no number at all, that it had been created from scratch.
Techdude was going to provide a final, definitive report. The matter has already been mentioned in one or two articles. I think that at that point perhaps the National Enquirer would start covering it, even if the rest of the press tried to pretend it didn’t exist.

Last December, someone close to the LA Times disclosed on a blog that the paper was agonizing over whether to print a sex scandal about one of the presidential candidates. All of us here agreed that it had to be about one of the RAT candidates--otherwise there would have been no agony. Well, damned if it now doesn't appear that we were right, and so much for your theory that the MSM will go with any juicy tidbit on anything and anybody at any time.

The Rather thing is a good example of media bias. Those partisans had no less than FOUR document experts review the letters. They simply ignored what they were told in their zeal to believe the story.
The media will protect their precious Bambi to the best of their ability between now and November. We are not talking paragons of objectivity.
Since it is reported that Barack’s or Barry’ adopted surname was Soetoro and readoption surname was Dunham, just what are his names, first and last? Is he Barack or Barry? Is he Obama or Soetoro or Dunham? What is his legal name or is he using an alias? Anyone know?
