Karl Rove, disguised as Lucy Ramirez, hacked Sarah Palin’s e-mail account from a Kinko’s in Amarillo.

it's just another distraction

[E-mails to nowhere.]

DUmmies get easily distracted by butterflies

And bright, shiny trinkets....

BWAHAHAHAHA!

Sorry for the incomplete Tom Waits line; I was up way past my bedtime but I thought this was too FUnnie to wait on. The line goes "If you think that you can tell a bigger tale / I swear to God you'd have to tell a lie."

Do you feel like Mike Rowe when you visit DUmmieland?

Yes, yes I do. PJ, this would be a great idea. I know that Rowe is always looking for new ideas for his Dirty Jobs show. You should contact him and invite him to do a guest shot. Next day, Charles and I would get a PM titled "PING LIST 1,020,864."

That'd be really cool.

Actually, I’d be disappointed if Rove didn’t do this.

I was talking to one of my left-leaning friends at work today and he said something to the effect of "Yeah, Rove is sitting this one out. That's gotta be killing him." I just said, "Yeah, he's sitting this one out." I was laughing uncontrollably inside.

I don't know if you've seen the movie No Country for Old Men but the character Anton Chigurh is so powerful, so scary, that he's in every scene. Even more so in the scenes that he is NOT in.

That's how the DUmmies perceive Rove. (My friend, not being a DUmmie style liberal, would never understand the purification of the DUmmie mind.) They KNOW he's in there. Heck, he probably is.

Well, your friend is sensible.

I love the Coen brothers and No Country for Old Men was a great movie. (I bet Rove has one of those pneumatic gizmos in the trunk of his invisible car.)

I once saw a HUGE DUmmie thread where they were actually blaming the 2004 terrorist attack in Madrid on Karl Rove (apparently Rove wanted a distraction. From what I can't remember). You might have seen it- it made the rounds on the web. I can't remember the details but it was without a doubt the most deranged thing I've ever seen from DUmmie Land.

The Coen brothers are a great bridge, IMHO, between Scorsese and PT Anderson. These guys make great movies with no agenda, hidden or otherwise. I've never been terribly impressed with that Quentin Tarantino fellow and I'll tell you why, and at length.

Tarantino's films, the ones I've stomached, hand out redemption like government cheese. Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction both did it.

Go back in time to Mean Streets. Redemption is something you EARN. Something that some of us never achieve.

The Coens, while nihilistic, subtly portray strength against the evil. And some days you eat the bear, and some days the bear eats you.

As to PT Anderson (son of Ghoulardi--a Cleveland icon) he's a brilliant filmmaker, and I don't know nor care what his politics are. Boogie Nights was an excellent film, though I thought that he allowed the Tarantino influence to affect the conclusion of the movie.

Then he comes out with Magnolia; with such complexity and a manic point of view that you feel that you've been watching nine movies at once and it comes down to redemption and what can be forgiven and what cannot.

Frogs come out of the sky. And they save what you think cannot be saved. (Everyone can be saved.)

In Punch Drunk Love he uses primary colors and masterfully casts Adam Sandler as as a cowardly, repressed man who suddenly discovers super-human strength through the power of love.

There Will be Blood is still pretty fresh. Some days I think this guys greed and ambition drove him to ruin. Other days I wish I had a bowling alley in my house.

I stood up and cheered when he said that, LOL! :-)
I think FOX should put Karl on the show permanently and have him tell Alan that at least once a night, d’oh. ;-)

Hey- that looks like one of my cats, Sir Charles. I swear he is innocent of this. He has been known to use a computer but unless Sara’s password is 2r4ghhuluio’lkj4uahntjjjjjjjjjjjj
he is not the culprit!!

These are the same lowlifes who hacked into Michael Steele’s credit report. They arethe same lowlifes who falsified documents, forging government documents to make the President’s military service look bad. They are the same lowlifes who illegally obtained almost 1000 FBI files.

Now they have invaded Sarah Palin’s email.

Because the invaders weren’t prosecuted in the Steele case — in fact, the Democratic Party kept them on the payroll — nor were tehy prosecuted in any of these other cases, all felonies — this hacker felt he or she could get away with it. And they probably can — they’re liberals.

The rules don’t apply to liberals.

I doubt that the history books today mention that JFK and RFK wire tapped MLK’s phones.

They also came up with one of the tactics that BO is using. You know how he's always raising the race issue by claiming that the Republicans are using it, evne though they aren't? Taht's exactly the tactic the Kennedies used against Nixon, essentially implying that he was stoking fear of a Catholic as President when the only ones stoking that fear were the Kennedies themselves so they could use that fear as a campaign tactic.
