In early October, I and a few friends of mine are going to be establishing a new website, that will be challenging the media and their slants. The reason for this is to make sure that facts are being provided, and not baseless pundency and blogs.
We will hopefully be joining up with FreeRepublic, and otehr sites, to reach out to everyone across the country and make sure that the news is reported fairly and accurately.
This will be a no BS zone.

Thank you. It is very exciting and we will be trying to reach out to everyone with unbiased info. We will be calling it down the middle, probably upsetting both sides of the aisle.

Good luck. I must admit I am feeling rather dejected right now. This must be how it is in a communist country with government controlled media. The problem is many American’s are brainwashed by the leftist media and the entertainment community. It is all very much like “1984.”
Always be overly generous with trackbacks and links. Other sites and bloggers will be your best source of pageviews and they do notice where incoming links originate.
Dropping links in others’ comment threads is iffy.
Definitely don’t do the “hey, great sight! Come check out www,blahblahblah,com” thing.
If you keep it fresh with good links and frequent updates and a reasonable amount of original material, you can do well.
Find other sites with common goals and ingratiate yourself to them. It will pay off in the end.

I plan on checking the entire net for information. I would love to have some Freepers come over when the site is up.
Please keep in mind that there is only one side and that is the truth. I would hope you wouldn’t compromise the truth in your effort to be fair and balanced. This is the main complaint we have about Bill O’Rielly.
There is only one truth. Bill is a great example because he grills both sides to get to the bottom of things. No posts will be allowed without thorough investigation of the statistics and sources.
It is about time that politicians and media be taken to task.

I’ve had the same feelings and talked about establishing a website that just provides facts for any article produced by the AP, and ANY MSM media outlet. Don’t get me wrong, I love Hot Air, LGF and FR, but a number of mbrs from websites that I;ve been a part of like Rightnation have the same feel to it, and have expressed creating their own RW/conservative sites. Good luck to you and hope it’s successful.
Yeah, I feel the same way. I want the raw, naked, unrehearsed truth out there, and then let people make their decisions, based on those facts. Many people make decisions without having the facts on the table.
I feel there would be less problems if we knew everything.

Horowitz (the FP Mag founder) even has a link to his other site: Discover the Networks’, which links every lefty to every donation they nade to terrorist organizations. A small suggestion..
