Did Bill Ayers write Dreams From My Father?
Prior to 1990, when Barack Obama contracted to write Dreams From My Father, he had written very close to nothing. As an undergraduate, Obama had written what he justifiably calls some “very bad poetry.” He published nothing under his own name in The Harvard Law Review, where he served as an editor and as president. And after leaving Harvard, he published nothing in its review or in any law journal.
Then, in 1995, this untested 33 year-old produced what Time Magazine has called--with a straight face-- “the best-written memoir ever produced by an American politician.”
The public is asked to believe Obama wrote this on his own. I do not buy this canard for a minute, not at all.

I always figured that Ayers wrote the book. Let’s hope someone can find proof.
Good grief! Cashill says he doesn’t have fully digitized versions of the books in question, nor does he have the technical skills to do a complete QSUM analysis or the like. Can’t some group like the Swift Boat vets raise a few million bucks to complete the necessary task? Time is short!
A syntactical analysis of the book with know Ayres writing should reveal a match.
JFK, as we found out, was a totally manufactured candidate. His dad, Joe, was responsible for the bling.
And, JFK, was not the hero on PT-109. That was a man named Johnson from Salisbury, MA who was paid handsomely to take a back seat.
I visited Mr. Johnson at his mansion by the sea when I was 13 with my uncle.
My uncle was envious because Johnson retired at 38 with more money than he could count.
This has been kicked around, but no action even from third party. I don’t think if this proven true that it will impact the race. Have you seen the video of the fraud voters in Ohio?....they can’t read

I agree with you, but I don’t have a national tv or talk show to lay it out. As far as I’m concerned those who do are not interested either or they would have already....they are waiting for the MSM to put their credibility on the line which they won’t.

Jack Cashill has done Fantastic Investigative Journalism in all but proving beyond a shadow of doubt that William Ayers GHOSTWROTE Obama’s best seller “DREAMS OF MY FATHER!” hence proving Ayers and Obama are long term friends and partners!

Welcome to FREEPERLAND!!! Is there a reason that you think that Bill Ayers being Obama’s GHOSTWRITER is a trivial thing to be ignored? That sounds more like a ridiculous clown statement that David Axelrod would make knowing his vested interest in preserving whatever is possible of the steaming heap of cow poop known as Barack Hussein Obama!

Dreams my father left to me. Dreams inspired by my father. Whatever. But ‘’from’’? Just silly.
How did obama get pres of law review and never publish anything? That is truly odd. Surely that would have meant that he was considered one of the best writers in his class of law students, right?

A little about Ayers. His old man was very wealthy. He sat on the board of directors of large companies like Searle which became part of Monsanto’s pharamaceutical business if I remember correctly. You do not get on the board of big companies like this unless you are an Ex-Ceo, very large shareholder, etc. Ayers old man also probably paid for very good lawyers to insure Ayers got a light jail sentence.
Obama is not that bright and I doubt he wrote the book.

Dream of his father? His father split and his mother also split. It was his “typical white woman” grandmother who brought him up with his grand dad. A book praising his white relatives would not sell. Ayers wrote the book - you can bank on it.

Actually, Cashill has merely offered a completely unsupported speculation. He has supplied no proof and no real evidence.
Your challenge, Interesting Times:
1) Provide point-by-point arguments against Cashill’s case
2) Explain how an utterly unaccomplished writer came up with Dreams From My Father, a memoir with copious similarities to Ayers’ book.
What case? Where is the evidence? Did Cashill bother to get the results of an author attribution software comparison between the books? Did he consult experts in the field? No, he just offered an opinion.

I don't have to explain it, because that's not my position. It's quite likely that Dreams was ghost-written. However, to publicly claim you know who wrote it without providing any sort of technical analysis is weak, weak stuff.
Just what I thought. You have no explanation for the similarities.
Certainly, it’s circumstantial and pretty damning at that. Cashill is himself something of an expert in the field.
At the very least, he’s provided an incredibly strong argument that it’s something that needs to be investigated before a man about whom there are so many unanswered questions is elected president.
Ayers is not just some guy from his neighborhood.
Let’s just say that your notion of “an incredibly strong argument” and mine vary significantly.
If you’re interested in doing more than just typing stuff on a discussion forum, here’s my challenge to you: come up with a decent authorship attribution software package. I’ll scan a chapter each from “Dreams” and from “Fugitive Days” and we’ll see if there’s any verifiable correlation.
I will do some research into QSUM software, etc. In the meantime, at least accept my initial challenge and tell me why you are so dubious.
I would buy Ayers polishing a rough manuscript, but not writing the whole thing.

You might TRY OPENING YOUR EYES AND READING the Articles! There is a Mountain of Evidence supplied by Cashill proving Ayers aided in ghostwriting Obamanation’s book “DREAMS FROM MY FATHER!”
Also, You may choose to read the front page of THE NEW YORK SLIMES today before drinking your morning glass of Obama KOOLAID!

Great Post and Totally on Target! however it appears that it would be more successful presenting Logic and Facts to a Pile of Rocks regading the copious and overwelming Evidence Cashill develops and supplies to support his Excellently Supported Conclusions that William Ayers was the Ghostwriter of “DREAMS FROM MY FATHER” which the incompetent and thoroughly untalented and questionably sub intelligent self proclaimed Messiah, Obama HUSSEIN alleges he wrote by himself unaided by anyone including the known Terrorist William Ayers who Obama frevently denies ANY knowledge of except a possible passing knowledge because their kids went to school together! ( Ayer’s kids are in their late 20’s, the Messiahs are 10 and 8 respectively!)
It would explain why Obama’s mother - grandfather and grandmother played such small roles in the book...
And if we did investigate what newspaper would print the findings? Remember the credible rape case against Clinton? I know liberals who still haven't heard of it. Do you think the same would have happened if such a charge had been made against Bush?
The MSM was ready to barbecue Bush for one DUI 20 years ago. And speaking of drugs, Obama admitted to using cocaine - and the press? God love 'em but they only thought they hit a hot one when they discovered Sarah's husband - first dude - had too many beers a few decades ago.
The MSM did back-flips to keep from covering Clinton. They did the same on Obama's drug usage. And his terrorist friends. The reason they're called "the mainstream media" it because they have the reach to get information out. And we don't. So we can "investigate" to our hearts content and it won't matter much.
Not a very convincing case that Ayers wrote it. I think a case can be made that Obama did not write it. There is no doubt that the Ayers connection hits a nerve with Obama. He has lashed out repeatedly against Hannity, in part because of his publicizing this connection along with the one with Rev. Wright. There are just four weeks left to the election. Is there time to get the needed proof and inform the public?

Your article(s) woulld ordinarily shock Americans from ever considering Obama for much more pedestrian positions and to realize he is still very close to being elected POTUS is terrifying.
