I want it to be ordered that ALL private companies MUST have this holiday....ALL....no more making up extra days off for the govt class...if they don’t work, I don’t work...

Well, we do not do holidays for people who are living.
They will just have to wait.

It will be a holiday in the same way December 7th is.
Shouldn’t we also crown him as the greatest ever U.S. President ever, of all time, in the universe, in the galaxy at the same time. Now that would be a marvelous way for him to enter office, the best ever before he ever was.

Why?
I want a holiday named for me. I am raising 4 good strong Christian boys who are leaders and not followers. I figure that makes me much more qualified than obama. He has done nothing constructive.
For a country that has “gotten past” racism we sure seem to glorify it. By the very nature of wanting to honor someone for obtaining a position despite his ethnicity. Since when is ones race cause for celebration? Our accomplishments and character based upon age old standards of Judeo-Christian ethics and morals should be the litmus test for greatness.
If it works then do it. Seems simple enough to me. President Reagan set the template we just need to adhere to it.
I am not sure it will be a national holiday at this point, more likely the requirement that all public schools display the President’s picture in the lobby of the school. That way, the little sheeple can salute him upon entrance, the way the Italians did Mussolini.
I seem to recall that Reagan “advisors” told him the GOP could steal away half of the black vote in 1984 if he signed the King bill. Reagan did, but they didn’t.
He will have one on Monday, February 16, 2009.
