There are times I feel bad for Jimmy Carter. Like the other day when President Bush hosted the ex-President's lunch. It was quite obvious by the body language that no one wanted the buffoon any were near them. But Just when you want to feel bad for Carter, he comes out with another book, or Op-ed which distorts the facts of the Middle East and all sympathy drains away.
In his latest article in the middle east, appearing in the Washington Post, Jimmeh the Jackass does it again. He becomes the perfect bagman for Hamas, even claiming the reason the two sides couldn't get together is that Hamas wanted a comprehensive Palestinian peace but Israel only wants to talk about Gaza.
Of course Mr. Peanut makes up more facts when he accuses Israel of targeting schools and mosques. He doesn't realized that Hamas believes that bombs are more important than children (see video above), and the extent that Hamas goes to use its kids as human shields (video below).
The truth is Jimmy Carter is just an angry old man, still chasing the ghost of Menachem Begin who he blames for his reelection loss (like the fact that he proved that stagflation could happen had nothing to do with it).
Sadly, liberal media such as the Washington Post give this angry old man a platform to embarrass himself over and over again:

Michael Moore (quote), from his website, April 14, 2004...

"The Iraqis who have risen up against the occupation are not 'insurgents' or 'terrorists' or 'The Enemy.' They are the REVOLUTION, the Minutemen, and their numbers will grow -- and they will win. Get it, Mr. Bush?"
[actual quote from Michael Moore (2004). It still appears on his website]

The Communist Party USA (CPUSA):
"We are a party of unity in action. We are an integral part of every struggle and movement for change to eliminate poverty and joblessness, against racism and for full equality. We are participants, initiators and leaders of every movement to make life better now and much better in a socialist future." Yeah, so they supported an oppressive dictator, like the Repubs and Democrats haven't? The CP is still around, has apologized for that whole Stalin thing, and has a quickly growing youth section.

I noticed that Jimmy Carter stood far apart from the other presidents.
Probably because he can’t remember who these people are anymore....
I did notice he was a bit to the left of Chinagate Clinton.
Umhm, you know you are the low man on the totem pole when you are being ignored by Clinton in favor of the carpet.
Carter need only wait for Obama to govern for about a year, and by default, he will no longer be the worst living president.
“It was quite obvious by the body language that no one wanted the buffoon any were near them.”

Tht’s because he was only invited to replace the deodorant cakes in the white hourse urinals, and still had that smell about him.
“I did notice he was a bit to the left of Chinagate Clinton.”

Excellent.
The best thing that ever happened to Gomer was getting caught in his dalliance with the sluttish intern, Lewinsky. Now, his legacy handlers can say he was a great president who just had a moral failing.
The truth of course, is that his presidency was plagued by corruption, scandals and thuggery, Chinagate being perhaps the one with the most serious long-term consequences.
Actually,I think the others stood far away from Jimmy. And who wouldn’t?
“Carter need only wait for Obama to govern for about a year, and by default, he will no longer be the worst living president.”
I hope not. Carter is about as bad as we can get and still survive as a country.
