The Spoiled Brat-in-Chief (And His Media Creators) [Thank You, McCain/RINOs]
North Star Writers Group ^ | 2009-01-28 | David Karki

Posted on 01/28/2009 12:47:02 PM PST by rabscuttle385

He's only been in office for three days, and President Obama is already behaving like Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. About all that's left is for him to sing “Don't Care How, I Want It Now” and then plummet down the bad egg chute to the furnace.

He apparently thinks that both Republicans and the media should both unquestioningly bend over and kiss his behind, unaware that the latter already has been doing so for over two years.

As the cameraman in the first quote shows, a good many of the mainstream media still have their lips permanently locked on Obama's posterior. And in so doing, they have created an overindulged spoiled brat who, it would seem, has started believing his own hype.

. . . . .

As for the second item, since when was there any difference between Obama and John McCain? That the RINO from Arizona chanced into the GOP nomination thanks to New Hampshire liberals crossover voting in an open primary and the media seizing on that plurality win to shove him down our throat in no way means that voters had a real choice between tax cuts and redistributive checks. Sen. McCain's shilling for Obama now that he's in office is more proof that the election was largely a sham.

The Republican reaction to this sort of thing – and surely there is much more of it to come – will tell us whether they have anything left inside that might resurrect a party on life support.

Will they find their long-lost spine, guts and testicles? Will they firmly and maturely oppose this massive bailout from government that will dwarf what Detroit or Wall Street received? And, in so doing, provide a contrast between responsible, adult leadership and infantile petulance? Or will they meekly join the left in its lemming-like rush off the cliff?

It's ironic – the GOP has the same problem fighting the Democrats as the Democrats do fighting radical Muslim terrorists: They can't get it through their thick skulls that when you insist on playing by the rules against an opponent that purposely ignores the rules, you are almost certain to lose.

While the arena is different, the principle is the same: You have to treat this as a war, not as a polite difference of opinion. If the GOP isn't as determined to substantively defeat the Democrats as the Democrats are to defeat them, it's all academic. Just as Miranda warnings and the Exclusionary Rule mean nothing to psychos who fly planes full of people into buildings full of people.

And in both cases, our nation as we have known it hangs in the balance.

“I’m sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you’re not patriotic. We need to stand up and say, ‘We’re Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with ANY administration.’”

I think most of these so-called PUMA’s were just saying what they did for us to lower our guard.

Honestly I didn't believe a single word they said because they are still democrats and thus can not be trusted as far as I could spit into the wind.

There would be no need for 3rd parties if the Repubs would take responsibility for their own mess instead of blaming people of good conscience who won’t support their socialist leanings...like you just did.

Ding, ding, ding....we have a winner. Operation Chaos in reverse. Those menopausal hags, lesbians and queens just wanted to ensure that killing babies in the womb would stand and that gay marriage would become law of the land. They lied when they claimed they were putting principals before party.

You don't get it, do you? The election was a sham. The only "tools" here were the damn LOTEs who voted for the RINO McCain. Y'all knew what you were getting, yet you let fear overcome your inner sense of reason.

If McCain had won, not a single Republican would oppose him as he pushed through the same agenda as Obama. By McCain's own admission, he would have made the same appointments as Obama. And remember, both McCain and Obama were working together long before the election as cosponsors of various anti-American legislation.

Sorry AuntB, I favored Fred Thompson. McCain was my second to last choice in front of the surrender monkey Ron Paul. I saw the dangers of Obama and voted to stop him. Others that threw their hisses and voted thrid party to protest, did not vote or stayed home, own this next fours debacle of SOCIALSIM more than those that voted to stop Obama. I did not favor McCain, thou I liked and do like Palin very much.

McCain was very, very flawed but the same agenda as Obama? You can't see past the end of your nose. Obama is going to surrender to terrorism. Obama is going to be the most pro-abortion POTUS the U.S. has ever seen. Obama will coddle our enemies and shun our friends. As very flawed as McCain was, he would do none of that. And yes I think McCain is a tool most of the time myself. There is a bigger picture out there and considering the possibilities of a mushroom cloud over a U.S. city, I saw it.

They agree on Gitmo.

They agree on amnesty for illegals.

They agree on bailouts and Big Government spending.

They agree on climate change legislation.

Hell, what do they not agree on?!

What else do the tarot cards say?

*snort*

I don't have to resort to superstition and divination to figure the inevitable consequences of McCain's fairly obvious sucking-up to Zero and the other liberal Socialist Democrats.

Exactly! I mean when have the democrats ever stood by their claimed principals? They always say one thing in front of one group, and then say the exact opposite in front of another.

Obama is going to surrender to terrorism.

They agree on closing Gitmo.

Oh, and they agree on leaving our southern border wide open.

Obama will coddle our enemies and shun our friends. As very flawed as McCain was, he would do none of that.

Then why is McCain coddling the Democrats and telling the Republicans to stop opposing Zero?

We were going to get the socialist no matter what. We just got the black one.

On the bright side we don’t have to pretend anymore. No more overlooking McQueeg’s ties to George Soros. No more pretending that McQueeg’s years of voting against oil drilling were anything other than something he could use during a campaign by changing his mind. We don’t have to convince ourselves that his idiotic ideals on the border are anything but lies. He just needs to switch parties and be done with it.

I don't see what Mr. Karki's purpose actually is in writing this. McCain skated in while conservatives split into at least three camps (by my count) yelling at each other about how much more conservative they were over the others.

So if people are looking for who to blame for McCain, they should probably start by looking in the mirror.

However, love of the USA embodies love and respect for the Constitution. I am not sure he understands that based on his actions and legislation.

What is destroying the U.S. and has defrauded the public in a free election process is the senility of the collective GOP leadership and national Congressional membership.

They are rolling over and playing dead - as predictable because they lack the courage of their convictions. Their “conservatism” is only skin deep.

Contrast this with the behavior of the Bolsheviks in the Democrat Party when THEY lose!! SCREAMS of outrage!!!! Cries of election fraud!!! Vows to be true to their agenda!!! Political stonewalling and opposition!!

The GOP is simply NOT WORTH SAVING. It is DONE!!! Kaput!!! Dead on Arrival. Only post mortem tremors keep it in office.

We need to replace these frauds and phonies with people who BELIEVE in America and BELIEVE that socialism and globalism are WRONG!!!

Don't confuse rubblescuttle with facts (McCain also stated he would appoint Roberts/Alito like justices).

BTW - Each and every one of these major MSD (McCain Derangement Syndrome) devotees on FR are also prominent members of “no extreme is extreme enough when it comes to mexicans” crowd. They control every immigration thread with an iron fist and crush anyone who deviates from the most extreme wishes of their devotees.

So make no mistake, their venom at McCain is 95% derived from his position on immigration. I would bet money that if tomorrow McCain became an immigration hawk but didn't change his position on any other issue, he would be their new found savior.

That being said I am not a McCain fan, was crushed when he won the nomination nor do I subscribe to his positions on immigration. But we chastise liberals and the MSM for being duplicitous propagandists and we must hold our own to a higher standard when it comes to the truth.

Or we are no better than them.
