A nice benefit from a culture that’s lazy and filled with underachievers (with strong self esteem) is that revolution is just too hard. Ain’t gunna happen.

People are afraid of their children getting bit by a bug, you really think they are going to line them up for a Revolution?

The only people involved in a Revolution will those who didn’t take the Mark.

No revolution. It’s just drama queens indulging in their rich fantasy life.

Upheaval, maybe. Violent revolution, doubtful. But i do basically believe the essence of the financial aspects of this guy’s evaluation.

Depression after 2-3 years. No revolution...not going to happen. Without a strong moral conviction or belief in the cause, a revolution will only get the participants killed for nothing. I don’t see either one existing in our society today among enough people to get the job done. I believe people are going to have to suffer for a while before they finally wake up and realize they need to believe something.

Contrary to the thoughts of others, it may happen. The American Revolution did not begin with widespread public support or large numbers of people. All it takes to begin is a group of men who believe in and fight for their principles. After it has started, it is easier for others to join. The other possiblity is that desperation may cause some to join as those who have nothing left to lose will see an advantage in fighting for a cause. If we do not have enough men of character, then it will only happen if people become desperate enough.

People trained to live off the gubbint won’t revolt unless the gravy train stops.

No I fear we are only looking at movement to a totalitarian style govt which uses the gay agenda and environmentalism to control the population. Eventually we’ll all be killed by the muslims after refusing to convert.

It can’t start into todays environment. Anyone talking of it will be jailed. Anyone taking action will feel the black boots on their throats before any organization can take place.

So should we cower down and lick the hands of our masters?

To many people operate in fear of the government. At what point do we make a stand and show the government that it works for us?

All it takes for evil to succeed is for the good to do nothing. Right now I see a lot of nothing.

There are not-quite-senile-yet boomers who grew up as kids in a good and decent America. They remember living the American dream.
By age 60-something, after they lose their businesses, their retirement money and everything they worked hard for all their lives-—what would they have to lose????

Yeah, I think there is some potential for uprising.
Ask a man what’s the best thing he can leave for his kids and he’ll probably tell you;
“The concept of FREEDOM”

The revolution will start when the credit cards stop working!

Exactly. It doesn’t take a whole lot of people to raise hell.

I agree, sure it could happen, and right about the American Revolution's beginnings.

BTW, for anyone who wants detail and a good feel of the first 50 years of the the United States Of America buy the John Adams Book and DVD Set off Amazon.

Watch the series first one time with English subtitles, then thoroughly read the book. You will discover that our govt basically is going against our Founding Principles, and we the citizens are suffering ‘injury’ because of it's actions. This book and miniseries are keepers and should be revisited every year on the Fourth of July.

IMO there should be an organization established similar to the NRA or Heritage Foundation that monitors govt actions in relation to the Founding Principles, and a Legit ‘Tax Revolt’ organized.

Remember, the govt can't do evil things without your taxpayer money. And if millions revolt by withholding taxes maybe it can stay peaceful.
Sure, they can put you in Fema Detention camps with Illegal Aliens they accept from Mexico when it collapses to feed, cloth them and use them for govt labor, but if millions of Americans are in those camps they won't be paying taxes, the govt’s lifeblood!

I think this guy is over the top and provides little substance.

He cited store closings as a problem? America is completely over saturated with malls/stores anyway, a good shakeout is great.

tax revolts? why?

buying gold? yes, most of us here tend to agree with that - as we all expect inflation.

His criticism of Obama is true, but nothing to do with impending doom.

So who is going to revolt? White people over 40 in the top tax bracket? Who will we fight? The US army and local police? Total b/s.

It really doesn't take a whole lot to effect CHANGE.

All it takes is good men deciding to correct bad things.

Its pretty common in world history.

Civilian control over the armed forces is a very iffy thing.
