The present Republican party needs to go the way of the Whigs... Or to decide to stand for something.

If you have 1/3 of the country behind then why not form a strong third party?????? She can do it and it would beat both the Demonrats and the GOP.

no need to, we are about to reclaim an already established political party.

Of course. I am already an Independent, so that would be an easy decision.

Since I have not belonged to the Republican party for quite some time, if Gov. Palin wanted to form a conservative party, I would be on board.

if she really wanted to make herself irrelevant, then she should go ahead and start her own third party.

I don’t think that’s a likelihood, but let me put it this way...

I’ve been a life-long Republican who has never wavered, but after Bush’s insane spending, his play-dead approach to championing his causes, the loathesome amnesty push, the horrid Republican primary, a candidate like McCain who was bound and determined to lose, the RINO-backstabbing of Palin, the continued inability of the GOP to truly voice opposition to Obama’s Marxist agenda...

Well, YES! I would stand alongside Palin in a split-second, and never look back! The whole GOP establishment and beltway punditry makes me want to vomit, after that aforementioned track-record. I’d wholeheartedly go with Sarah Palin and the tea parties before placing any more trust in them. No question.

Gov. Palin is a Republican and working within it.

No third party has won or will win.
Third Parties always give you Democrat Presidents.

No, primarily because she won’t form a new party.

If she’s smart, anyway.

First off, Sarah Palin isn't going to be unemployed; she's going to be a community organizer. She's already said that she intends to go around the country and help conservatives, regardless of party, win office.

That said, the GOP may be as close to collapse now as the Whigs were, and for similar reasons. It could well be revived. It could well be destroyed and a new party take it's place. I think the far easier path would be to revive it and restaff it with actual conservatives. If the entrenched dead-enders want to die defending RINO hill, then the harder path may be the only way.

Only if we can convince Hillary to start a 4th party. Otherwise, there is zero chance of success.

No. I will not support a third party . . . it’s political suicide for Conservatives.

But, I will contribute to her PAC and volunteer to help her get her (our) message out within the GOP.

Yes...

1) Both Parties are corrupt to the core.

2) Both parties have completely lost touch with middle class America.

3) Both parties are more concerned with getting media brownie points than representing their districts or states

4) Both parties are controled by special interest groups

5) Both parties are beyond being reformed from within.

There are SOME members of both parties who still are ethical but the governing body is cancer ridden.

Yes, I am aware that 3rd parties historically do not win and there is a good chance that Obama is reelected.

However, at this point in history, I do not see the GOP ever having a ‘come to Jesus’ moment with their conservative wing. The beltway GOP insiders consider us the same way the Democrats consider their black voters....good for votes but quite frankly They have no use for us.

Personlly , I would vote for Palin in a third party in a heartbeat...I’ve had enough and I’m not alone.
