Actually, I think it was Pew Reasearch Center's last numbers showed Palin ahead of all others (Romney, Jindal, Pawlenty, etc.), and by nearly 2-1 over her closest challenger in Iowa.

Who was ahead and won Iowa in 2008? Remember? Try the name Huckabee by almost 3 to 1 over McCain.

Forget Iowa for a second...I am not asking this with any hidden editorial opinion...I just want to hear folks’ thoughts.

Can Sarah Palin, given the fact that the electorate is as divided as it is now, win the presidency in 2012? If so, how? If not, then who can beat Obama?
