Yes I have thought about it and you’re right, about what the constitution says should happen in this case. The supreme court abdicated their responsibility in this matter. The only real remaining recourse is to impeach Obama (or the supremes), because he is the president. I don’t see that as likely.
But this is no tail-chasing activity. For $10, zer0bama could have made this whole thing go away, but instead he chooses to spend 6 figures to fight it. There is no other issue that has that much leverage.
So at this point it is simply a matter of getting as much political damage out of it as we can.
What I find disturbing is the lack of respect shown for the constitution right here on this constitutionalist website by so many who consider themselves constitutionalists. Have ya’ll thought about that, or that far ahead? Why are you on the side of the anti-constitutionalists, shouting down on this issue and ridiculing those who are in the trenches? Well, sparky?
