I heard Ramen Noodles in Korea are much better than the ones here. Did you also eat Kimchi there? Andrew Zimmern did a show from Korea and focused on the Kimchi as well as some sort of hot bean paste which is popular there.

My Lime Shrimp Ramen Noodles have been sitting in my kitchen cabinet for over a year. I bought them at like 10 for a buck. I tried a couple. A little on the acidic side but passable in case of an emergency.

Up until a few years ago you could still get a fried bologna sandwich here at the local grocer. I might bring that back.

For me, Ramen Noodles are like hurricane emergency food. Fortunately, I did not have to eat them during our last hurricane here-—Wilma in 2005. The first evening, I got HOT PIZZA from a local Italian restaurant. I went there to buy food but the guy was great and was giving it out. The next day, I found a nearby Chinese restaurant that had gas stoves and served up hot food. Also found a bar where they served barbeque food. Then the nearby Denny’s opened up for business and I didn’t have to eat those Ramen Noodles. The only ones I tried were the Lime Shrimp Ramen Noodles that I still have and I only ate a couple of those out of curiosity. I mean do you even know what Lime Shrimp Ramen Noodles even taste like?

That’s a classic just for the title. I haven’t even looked at the thread yet.

We were at my wife’s alma mater today for reunion and other stuff. One building we went to on campus was the very nice libary. On the way out I noticed this one fellow with a laptop with stickers. One said “be a smartass, vote democrat”. I wonder how much his folks fork out for him to go to this rather pricey private college? How long will he be living in their basement when he wraps it up there?

They must be really bummed out. Their usual profanity is very subdued.

Either that or they can’t afford enough booze to fuel their usual rummy, bleary eyed, incoherent postings.

No matter. It’s still funny.

blech. I do not like seafood. I might get a fish sandwich from a fast food place or force down a tuna and mayo sandwich but thats about it.

Ramen Noodles powder shrimp can’t be better than the real thing that I hate.

The Walgreens black cherry soda is especially goood.
Made with sugar - not corn syrup.

I was once 18-25 yrs old

So this person admits that he is over 25 and still lived on ramen noodles so that another person could realize his dreams of becoming president??? The only reason to live on ramen noodles is to realize your own dreams. And frankly, no one over the age of 22 should live on ramen noodles for any reason.

I'm now unemployed, uninsured, and foreclosed.

Maybe this person will learn a life lesson, quit waiting for someone else to fix your life. Imagine what they could have done if they put all that energy, emotion, and money into bettering themselves instead of enriching politicians. Will they finally wake up? Naaa.. these are still DUmbasses.... always waiting for someone else to fix things...
