The 5.7x28 kind of strikes me as a target/competition round. Maybe in a single shot pistol or bolt rifle. This abomination and the PS90 don’t appeal to me at all.
Yes, though tactically it’s used by the Secret Service with armor-piercing rounds.
Too bad no one can get them, just like the “banned” naughty black talons. LOL
Yes, for light armor piercing duty with the right ammo I can see it, but for general purpose use, not so much.
Not surprising enough, I guess. I thought it might be 7.62x25.
Yes, for a counter-terrorism tactical sort of weapon... though we should adopt the Russian 9mm PBP armor-piercing round

Plus from what I’ve read the FN 5.7 is vastly overpriced until other replicas come out.
I'm kind of built around .45 ACP, .223, and .308. Also have a ton of .40 S&W, some .38, .44 mag, .357 mag., and even some .22. But in a pinch, the .45, .223, and .308 (and maybe the .40) would be my choices.
I need a 9 mm - they're common.
That looks a little awkward, but in a cool way! Not quite the one to have for CCW though. :-)
There seems to be some loose talk about about the FN 5.7 and “armor piercing”.
Check out what ATF says about it...

I have asked that question and have been attacked as a anti-gun Sarah Brady nut here on FR. I believe the type of gun was selected for him by Al Qaeda.
It is an assault machine pistol with low enough recoil for a neophyte to produce maximum terror.
