Stated "he is said to be a Buddhist" and that religion doesn't seem to offer the prospect of forgiveness that Christianity does. "My advice" to Tiger Woods is to embrace Christianity, and he can become a great example to the world.

Perhaps Brit needs to learn what Buddhism is about: self determination. One creates one's own karma through the causes that one makes. There is no need for forgiveness from some diety; there IS a need to realize that the negative causes only make negative effects. Tiger needs to make many positive causes to eradicate the negative effects. If he does that, he can become a great example to the world.

I would hope that Tiger gains strength and hope from his Budhism.

If Mother Theresa could accept another’s different faith, without attempts at direct conversion... that is good enough for me. after all, no one can question her faith in Christianity. She would attend the wedding ceremonies of those of others of different religions. And she would pray with Budhists and Hindus, saying “I will sit with you and pray to my God, while you pray ( or chant) in your faith.

THAT is a testimony of love and tolerance. I am sure her style had some converts, but more than that she showed true Chrisitan love in her way with respect for others. I can only admire her.
