The Supreme Court (CSJ), delivered today a definitive dismissal in favor of the junta of commanders of the Armed Forces of Honduras.
They are Romeo Vasquez Velasquez, head of the Joint Chiefs; Cervantes Venancio, deputy chief, Javier Prince, commander of the Air Force, Miguel Angel Padgeth, commander of the Army and Juan Pablo Rodriguez, commander of the Navy, who were accused of coordinating the actions capture and extradition to Costa Rica Mr. Manuel Zelaya Rosales on 28 June.
Colonel Ramiro Archaga, Armed Forces spokesman said that "justice was done" because the judges of the CSJ have considered all the arguments he gave members of the Joint Chiefs, through their legal advocates.
Senior military leaders in its response document to the charges brought against them by prosecutors, said they decided to bring the country to Zelaya for homeland security, as the social situation had worsened in the left national territory to the former president.
"The prevailing rule of necessity," said Juan Carlos Sanchez, one of the lawyers defending the military leadership. "There is evidence that if Zelaya remained in the country had provoked the bloodshed of many of our countrymen.
The legal professional revealed that on June 28 were in the country about 950 armed foreign nationals who posed a threat to the security of the nation.
The initial hearing was on January 21 and adjourned at midnight with an evacuation of the evidence, then gave space for judges to analyze the documentation that was available about the case.
The prosecution argued that there was no need to remove the former president because the Armed Forces have the equipment and personnel necessary to avoid any threat to the country.
check this: Zelaya used the honduran liberal party to get the power. No one knew he was a communist. Obama and his people used the Democrat party to get to power. The people was warned about Obama, but refused to listen. 1 yr after and we are watching what was told...
The *charges* against the board members were dismissed; the board members themselves were not dismissed. Very important distinction.
The whole article looks as if it came out of BabelFish.
Amazingly, there is still a large chunk of people who have no inkling he is either a socialist or a marxist.
Why, I ran into one idiot today (an acquaintance, he sat down at my table to eat a quick slice of pizza) who truly didnt know that all of obozo’s public speaking was done from reading off a teleprompter.
A real moron who accepts Moore’s propaganda films as factual.
There are still a LOT of uninformed sheeple out there.
Really, it reads like a food fight commentary.
