Today DUbble-naught spy Jeffersons Ghost continues his amazing tale with this THREAD, "Part 2 (I was a CIA operative)."
Yes, today it's Stupid Bowl II, the Dolts vs. the Sane-nots, Peyote Maddening vs. DU Breeze, in Rad Zone Red, while the commentary of your humble guest correspondent, Charles Henrickson, enjoying the return of nice weather for my last couple days here in Orange County, is in the [brackets]:
Part 2 (I was a CIA operative)
[Part DU (I was a DUbble-naught spy)]
Over 60% of the people used by the CIA are not directly employed by the agency.
[Over 90% of the people who used to be CIA operatives are not correctly wired.]
Even before WW2, where Radio Free Europe transmitted orders and warnings to the Free French in Paris, mass media was an effective vehicle for messages to intelligence operatives.
["Bonjour, Free French people in Paris! We realize that, since it's before WW2 and the Germans have not yet invaded your land, Radio Free Europe has not even been formed and there is no "Free French" Resistance yet either--well, in spite of all that, we're broadcasting these orders and warnings to you anyway. Call it a test run."]
My professional background is in radio, TV and newspaper.
[I delivered newspapers while listening to the radio. On Sundays the paper would have the TV listings for the week in it, making them heavier to throw.]
I was like a relay point, to some degree. I took information from one source and relayed it to another. I have no idea how these simple phrases, or occasionally single words, were used. I'm sure the Valentines Day commercial that said "Why not send HIM roses." brought about a St. Valentines Day Massacre in some cases.
[In other cases, it brought about a Ben Burch Massage.]
With items like this OP, the primary objective is the discredit the author. If you can't intimidate people into silence, making them look stupid or crazy is a strategy straight out of the beginners playbook.
[It's so obvious, isn't it? These amateurish attempts to make DUbble-naught spy Jeffersons Ghost appear stupid or crazy. . . . Who would fall for it?]
My last OP on this topic was locked.
[Locked and loaded!]
No reason was given by the Moderator. It said "WE" are locking this because of a "consensus."
["Conspiracy" is more like it! "WE" indeed!]
My computer has developed some odd software issues, so I won't be able to respond to subsequent postings as well as I'd like. It's probably a virus.
[DU Flu. . . . Thanx, DUbble-naught spy Jeffersons Ghost. Now let's see if there are any secret messages imbedded in the replies . . .]
[This message was a secret code to bring about a Super Bowl Sunday Mockery.]
I'm loving these threads.
[Code for "Free French . . . Fries!"]
Is there a link to part 1?
[This question was asked by Will Pitt. Maybe Wee Willie's next career will be as a DUbble-naught spy. "Pitt. Will Pitt," I can hear him say, tuxedoed, as he asks the bartender for a beer shaken, not stirred. Spied Spyer Pitt can relay secret messages through his truthout essays. No need to encode them--just put them in the last paragraph, and only those who need to know will make it that far.]
Oh man, this is better than "24"
[This is better than "24 business hours"!]
Could you tell me, confidentially, is Project X a hoax?
[No. Meaning, no, I can't tell you.]
If not, do you have any idea when it will be implemented?
99.9 questions of this type, I won't be able to answer. I have no idea what "project X" is nor do I have a need to know. Stuff like black-ops projects are performed in a "need to know" environment.
[DUbble-naught spy Jeffersons Ghost does not need to know ANYTHING, as he amply demonstrates.]
black ops payback is a "bear."
[BEWARE THE BEAR!]
If black-ops projects are performed in a need to know environment, and one does not have a need to know, how does one know that there are such projects?
[The fact that you do not know about them--that in itself shows that they are going on. Otherwise you would know about them.]
I think I saw your story on cable...it was The B*llsh*t Channel, right?
A thread like this is a good way to identify the trolls. I wonder how many work for the boys and how many are just ignorant. So, the moderators base their decisions on how many trolls attack your thread. That brings up another question.......
[Do the MODERATORS work for "the boys"? Are Skinner, Elad, EarlG really . . . CIA OPERATIVES???]
I'm sorry. I think it's best if I lock this. Please don't post any more of these. Thanks.
[HA! I KNEW it! EarlG locks the thread, fearing exposure, and thus PROVES he really is a SPOOK!]
Late-night PING from Orange County!
theyve been watching Burn after Reading and fondling themselves once too often
If they wont post any more of these how will he let us know when the CIA finally kills him?
Ah, ha! Found the secret phrase in the message! Quick, tell Eric Holder.
We used to have state hospitals for people like this.
Most of them are proud of it too.
Please add me to the ping list also...Thank you!
black ops payback is a "bear."
oh-oh. I bet that's in code.
b.e.a.r. has to be a code word.
Now where's my Captain Video decoder ring?!?
Reminds me of the used car salesman in the movie ‘True Lies’.
Don’t they call them “operators”, not “operatives”??
Hello Joe Biden Jr.!
Welcome aboard, PINGEE #1042!
Hey man, Copenhagen is giving away free SwissArmy type multi-tools by going to FreshCope.com and creating an account.
Worst that happens is you get a promotional email about twice a month.
DU is a national treasure. Of stupidity.
I think it needs repinged
Still involved in “the OC racy” matters in California, I see....
Soon to be followed by JG being locked UP w/ requisite jacket...
Radio Free Europe/ Radio Liberty was a Cold-war creation and didn't begin broadcasting until 1949.

In a Gunsmoke episode, Doc asked Festus "Festus, why in thunder won't you learn to read, so when you tell us something you can have the facts and tell us straight?"
Festus replied "Doc, I told ya a hundred dozen times, when you start to read readin', how do you know the feller that wrote the readin' wrote the readin' right?"
I think this DUmmie the reincarnation of Festus.
I was a pet rock.
What the heck did they lock the thread for? are they afraid they’re coming off looking like kooks? that’s nothing new, so they should’ve kept the thread opened.
Part I seems to have disappeared. Any idea why it would get pulled?
Too much CIA insider intel. The spooks--and they are EVERYWHERE--had to disappear it.
But since you obviously have a "need to know," you can still find Part One HERE, at the DUmmie FUnnies blogspot, and in the comment section, I explain what happened.
Or "Sanen'ts," for short.
Yes, I've been out here in Orange County (Santa Ana) on top-secret Lutheran synodical-political business, plotting the overthrow of our current administration. I've finished that part of the trip now, and since my 14-y-o daughter came out here with me, today we're doiing fun stuff she wants to do--go down to Laguna Beach and Dana Point, browse the shops, walk along the beach, go tidepooling, that sort of thing. It's supposed to be 62 and sunny--much better than the 32 and snowy of St. Louis. We go back home tomorrow.
Good luck, and have a safe flight home. We're supposed to get 12+ inches of GW beginning tonight through tomorrow here in Northern Illinois.
Welcome aboard, PINGEE #1043.
Time enough to head off to that Mission San Diego spot where they serve the GIGANTIC Margaritas?
I used to work in Santa Ana. Go have a burger and fries at Dukes.
San Diego would have been another hour beyond where we went. But I have been to Old Town San Diego before and enjoyed Mexican food and giant margaritas there.
Today the weather was beautiful, 62 and sunny, and we went tidepooling at Dana Point and then explored Laguna Beach. Had a fun day, my daughter loved it, and that made Dad very happy. Although, we both are pretty wiped out and sore from climbing all over those rocks at Dana Point for an hour-and-a-half!
I'm not sure where Dukes is. We're over by Fairhaven and Yorba. Is it somewhere on Tustin Ave.? We may get a burger on our way to the airport around lunchtime.
Last time we were out here, my daughter had an In-and-Out burger and loved it. Is Dukes better than an In-and-Out?
Okay, I just Googled Duke’s, and apparently there is one up by Prospect and Chapman, which is like three minutes from where we are staying. There’s also an In-N-Out Burger near there too.
That sounds about right, I remember it being around Chapman. It’s been years since I’ve been there. I always went there with my coworkers from First American Title in Santa Ana. Great fries.
I never was that impressed with In ‘n’ Out Burgers. They’re OK, but I never understood what all the fuss was about.
With mask & snorkel? That's the way to do it. Also I sort of did that down in Culebra although most of it was really reef diving but a lot of it was in shallow tidepools. A true tidepooler (who has read Euell Gibbons) will carefully get sea urchins out of there, open them with a knife, and eat the eggs. Not as bad as it sounds. Sea urchin eggs are actually quite tasty. Really just another form of caviar and it is served in sushi restaurants as "uni."
The BEST hamburgers are Tommy's in L.A.. Be sure it is one of the ORIGINAL Tommy's. FUn Fact: I was once eating at a FAKE Tommy's in L.A. when I looked across the street and spotted H.R. Haldeman walking down Wilshire.
If you are ever a bit north of there, try skin diving in the Kelp beds off Malibu. I remember one August when I dived in those kelp beds EVERY DAY of that month. Spearfishing. LOTS of sea life in or near the kelp beds. I always saw sea otters up close. Also it was kewl to see sea lions swimming below the surface. Small sharks and big manta rays. Best of all was a whale that came close to shore. I swam within about 15 feet of it. We sort of stared at each other for about 5 minutes. Strange experience to look into the intelligent eye of a whale.
The best CHILI burgers are at Tommy's.
Best traditional double cheese burger is still In-N-Out. (Regular traditional burgers, too.)
Oh, shucks. I was hoping for more threads of this nature.
