At most, five libraries would have such an esoteric microfiche

Care to bet on that?

The last time I was at a university microfilm library, a few months ago, the guy next to me was reading Czech newspapers from the 1950s.

In five minutes of searching, I've found ten libraries with it, including the New York Public Library, the Library of Congress, Harvard University Library, Cornell University, the Hawaii State Library, and the National Library of Australia.

And if you can’t trust a “myface” account, what can you trust?

Which is precisely why my great aunt went to Kenya to have her baby. It was just what you did.

He's an American - get over it and move on to what's really important before we become so fragmented, the tearing apart of the Conservatives leads to 4 extra years of him.

So, you are saying that you are ok with he & Holder giving constitutional rights to terrorists, to closing Gitmo & bringing them to a neighborhood near you and the trashing of all the policies put in place for our national security?

If you think this is NOT the highest Constitutional crisis, then you, softballmominVA, do not know your American history & the reason the strict qualification was put in place.

Washington warned us in his farewell address of this very day:

If, in the opinion of the people, the distribution or modification of the constitutional powers be in any particular wrong, let it be corrected by an amendment in the way which the Constitution designates. But let there be no change by usurpation; for though this, in one instance, may be the instrument of good, it is the customary weapon by which free governments are destroyed. The precedent must always greatly overbalance in permanent evil any partial or transient benefit, which the use can at any time yield…

As avenues to foreign influence in innumerable ways, such attachments are particularly alarming to the truly enlightened and independent patriot. How many opportunities do they afford to tamper with domestic factions, to practice the arts of seduction, to mislead public opinion, to influence or awe the public councils. Such an attachment of a small or weak towards a great and powerful nation dooms the former to be the satellite of the latter.

Against the insidious wiles of foreign influence (I conjure you to believe me, fellow-citizens) the jealousy of a free people ought to be constantly awake, since history and experience prove that foreign influence is one of the most baneful foes of republican government...

Real patriots who may resist the intrigues of the favorite are liable to become suspected and odious, while its tools and dupes usurp the applause and confidence of the people, to surrender their interests

If you wrote the article, then I meant to say that to you. If you didn’t write it, the slam is aimed at the writer of this trash ... and it serves the agenda of what Barry the bastard Obama is seeking to do, conflate citizen with natural born citizen.

He could be an American but that is not the defining argument for being eligible for POTUSA as a ‘ natural born citizen which by his own writings cast doubt because he acknowledges his father was Kenyan and subject to British rule. There is and has been very much discussion as to ‘natural born citizen’ as covered in Vittal’s The Law of Nations’ which is embeded in Article I Section 8 clause #9, versus ‘native born citizen’ which has been often quoted even in legal writings as the same perhaps even broader standing. Apparently the difference was supposed to have been settled in the constitutional convention when ‘natural’ that was originaly cited was replaced with ‘native’; but this in turn was replaced with ‘natural’ as now in the final version. The difference was in that ‘native’ would be closer to referring to place of birth than as to ‘natural’ which could refer to manner of birth i.e. parents. The Founding Fathers because of fears against foreign influence evidently went with ‘natural’ and emphasized this by embedding The Law of Nations. If BHO should be found ineligible because of his father being a non-citizen, I think all the quashed info on his birth, school, draft record etc. would be opened.

Of course I’m not happy about it - but tell me this - if he had a legitimate birth certificate notarized by God Himself, would that mean that he would no longer do these things?

My point is to focus on the main issues

I am a lot of things, but I have NEVER been an obamanoid

I generally enjoy reading your stuff.

And I can understand why some people might choose not to engage this issue; the water has been muddied quite a bit.

But there is a long list of key documents the O has managed to make off limits. When you consider how easily his enemies' sealed records get unsealed, its even more remarkable that his whole paper trail has been locked away and no one says boo.

That ought to make any journalist twitch, you just know there has got to be a story there. But, no. Journalists in this age turn out to be the most incurious creatures ever born.

There is a huge empty space where his resume is supposed to be. And huge warning signs posted, don't go there or you are a right-wing crazy. So, everyone agrees not to look and not to ask.

How did a guy with no past manage to get himself elected to the White House, and still no one can rouse themselves to do the most basic reporting to try and fill in the blanks. Weird.

“Us”? You have a real mouse in your pocket?

And just “who” think people who doubt 0bama’s eligibility are kooks?

What group of people have that opinion that so terrifies you?

You totally miss the point.

What part of the Constitution is irrelevant? And just how far are you willing to go to let foreign intrigues & influences further tear away at our national security & take over our borders which will inevitably erode our sovereignty?

I am not saying he will be removed. I highly doubt it, but we can not sit back either and let this ever happen again.

The only way that will happen is through the education of a dumbed down general public through the failing US educational system which has led to their ignorance of US history & the rule of law under the constitution.

We need to keep this alive to give it more light so that more states will step forward and adopt stricter election laws to guard against a repeat.

Do you get the picture now?

I'd rather focus on what he is doing now, rather than spin wheels on what is in the past.

You see it differently than I do. That is irreconcilable. So does that make either of us less of a conservative? No, it just means we have different ways to attack the same problem

And many times, that is the way someone is brought down - the proverbial death from a thousand cuts.

You assume that this issue is the only one I advocate for and to that you are incorrect.

I am very proud to have been able to help elect Scott Brown from afar & I will continue to endorse true conservative candidates as well as support them & I will continue to advocate for passing constitutional legislation and burning my phone lines to defeat the unconstitutional ones and as soon as the weather permits my health to return to the outdoors, I will be pounding the pavement in my state.

My elected reps know me by name, so for you to say that one can only work on a single issue at a time is completely and utterly misguided.

" Those who say it's not a "winning issue" are losers who want to keep Obama in office so they can make money writing and pontificating about how bad his policies are -- "
Or write news stories, books, TV shows about the birthers and make money off of it, and to make themselves look relevant ( the new fad of bashing birthers in the MSM ) to bash birthers as kook-n-loons.
