All I am hearing now from this wonderful conference at CPAC where many patriots came out and spoke to the heart of how we can work together to stop the Obama agenda are the results of this straw poll.
These people dont represent a bunch of kooks like the left and to see that a man like Ron Paul win a poll that represented this event is all a bunch of nonsnese (results were booed) that is intended to undermine us.
I dont know how they came up with the numbers but my gut tells me that the left co opted this poll now is all over the media with it.
Listening to WABC radio and AP news they announced a new leader coming out of CPAC out of all things why would they be so enthusiastic about announcing a worthless poll?
I am sorry folks dont buy into this crap the American people who want change in November arent looking for a kook like Ron Paul and his people to lead it.
Trust me and your instincts the left will do anything to throw us off our game and in this case the straw poll was the first target. How else to split us apart than to push these results?
Now they can go around and tag all us a bunch of loons especially when it comes to Paul's outrageous comments on foreign policy and his attacks on the CIA and FBI.
The gay conservative incident was another example of the left sending people out to undermine our traditional values. We accept all people but not the extent that we need to change the laws of our religion and principle of our party.
Stay resolute keep your eye on the prize and dont fall for this goal to discourage us from making real change come November.
If they can get this man in office they can rig and influence a straw poll or send some people out to disrupt our convention that is made to make us look like something we are not.
I think one can see how Paul’s message appeals to youth: 1) don’t spend my generation into oblivion, 2) don’t go intruding on my personal lifestyle choices, and 3) don’t send us off to war needlessly.
Fortunately they’re a small minority of actual voters!

Kook is when you blame America for the attacks of 911 kook is when you attack people who put their lives on the line to protect us in the CIA and FBI. HIs comments are shameful and in many ways no different from the communist goals of 1963. Undermine CIA and FBI and blame American foreign policy for all problems in the world.
George Will was head and shoulders above the rest of the speakers at CPAC.
He exposed the left’s flawed beliefs, cut them into little peices, and left them in a pile on the floor.
And he did it all with style and humor.

I was here at CPAC for the full three days, and it was pretty obvious that the straw poll was targeted by the Ron Paul supporters for “special attention.” The poll got less than 3,000 votes total from the over 10,000 attendees, so it’s not really an accurate representation, just a response to those who were motivated enough to swamp it.
Now, don’t get me wrong, there are many things I agree with Ron Paul on, like auditing the fed. But then there are the other wacked out positions that make you say “huh?”
Seeing the people lined up for Paul’s autograph after his speech, I couldn’t help but think of the Star Wars bar scene...
Plus, expect a huge swell of new Repub registrations (If Obama does not have any challengers).
Hard to say a if viable “conservative” candidate will make it “out”.
I heard on Fox that of the 10,000 people there only 25% voted in the poll.
And the problem with “so called” conservatives is that they are afraid to ask even the simplest questions of their government. No, they’ve turned into the party of the government...........blindly defending everything it does.
Could very well be many lefties sent in to effect poll, boo traditional values and other wise pretend to be part of the conservative movement.
I may be mistaken but I remember someone quoting rules for radicals instead of sending people out to yell and scream against a conservative candidate send your people out dressed as the KKK to support them and undermine there base support.

I can not think of anybody that would not be better than the president we have, but Paul is a long way down my list. I want Sarah, but will vote for about anyone.
Between the Ron Paul nutters spamming the straw poll, the John Birch Society and David Keene's well-known penchant for selling his soul for money (he threw Ronald Reagan under the bus in 1980 for a better job with GHW Bush), CPAC has jumped the shark. I'm sure the parties were great, though.
Sarah Palin looks like a freaking genius for staying away from this mess.
I am sorry but Americans are sick and tired of politicians blaming us for everthing Ron Paul is no different than Obama when it comes to this.
Nations should be on their hands and knees thanking out military and our country . Ron Paul is a disgrace no different than Obama when it comes to his opinion of the cause for innocent slaughter of life on 911.
2395 voted in the CPAC straw poll out of more than 10,000 in attendance (CPAC website).
The John Birch Society is an anti communist organization I have no problem with that.

You have to know the Paulites would be motivated to vote and make a statement while the rest were more interested in 2010. They are a very organized group that won all sorts of Straw Polls until the actual votes.
