Are You A “Becker?”
Elective Decisions ^ | 02/22/10 | Chris Davis

Posted on 02/22/2010 1:04:12 PM PST by writer33

Do you feel the incessant need to blame Republicans for all the evil in the world? Do you breakdown into fits of crocodile tears? Do you constantly say that America must be unified to defeat Democrats when we’re already unified against the liberal agenda? Do you feel that a third party will solve all of America’s ills? If you’ve answered yes to any of the above questions, then you’re likely a “Becker.”

>>Conservatives are better off with Obama than they would have been with McCain; I have no doubt about that.

But is America.

I absolutely agree with that, but continuing on this crusade isn't accomplishing anything right now. He should be pointing out the productive things now.

I'd say that it has accomplished quite a bit....from Van Jones....To Acorn....To now, exposing RINOS. In the year since Beck went ON the air we have seen Republican victories in NJ, VA, and MA

And he played a bigger role in that, by exposing corruption, by exposing this administration, than ANYTHING Michael Steele and the NRSC has done.

But keep looking for that Birth Certificate, by the time you find it, The Republicans will hold majorities in both houses of congress....THANKS to people like Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Jim Demint (for standing up for Honduras), and the 40 republicans who held their ground on health care.

We can only HOPE that they remember what got them there.

The American people don’t want an Obama or McCain

The party leadership gave us Obama, from the DNC side, and McCain from the GOP side. So, yes, both parties need to do some house-cleaning.

The present state of arousal on the part of the rank and file is no thanks to GOP leadership. The present state of disarray in the Obamist ranks is, again, no thanks to GOP leadership who until the Tea Uprising were quite prepared to "reach across the aisle" and bi-partisan themselves into irrelevancy.

It is thanks in no small part to a very small handful of talk show hosts and an out-of-work governor and the Tea folk themselves throwing a public fit that the GOP has gotten its spine back from the pawn shop and is ready to do battle.

I’m a Becker, he’s a Becker,
She’s a Becker, we’re a Becker,
Wouldn’t you like to be a Becker, too?

Be a Becker! Watch Mr. Beck!

Conservative Fox News personality Beck also said that he may have voted for Hillary Clinton over McCain had Clinton been the Democratic nominee in 2008.

I don't see what that has to do at all with you inventing a ridiculous term like "Becker" and insulting every Freeper who criticizes Republican liberalism.

By the way, if I remember correctly, Ann Coulter said the same thing. Do you hate her too?

What productive things?

Like not buckling on healthcare and listening to the American people.

And the only reason they’re doing that is due to public sentiment. And who is raising the public sentiment and informing them of what’s going on...folks like Beck. So to criticize him is counterproductive IMO.

This is still a free country for now. I guess we’re not allowed to criticize anyone, and I knew I’d get attacked for it, but that’s you’re God given right.

I think you’re seriously overreaching if you think Buckley was the only cariacture of the Harvard intellectual snob (not saying Buckley was). I for one disagree with you that Beck is imitating Buckley. I (and everyone else) have seen this character in numerous movies, tv shows, etc.

Yawn. Loser post. Anyone that’s listened to Beck for even a little while sees the idiocy in this argument. Yes, we do need to get away from the 2 party way of thinking that you either vote for the donkey or the elephant, no matter who the canidate is. McCain is a great example; NOT the canidate I wanted, even with the “R” by his name. Personally, I voted for Sarah, not John. As a Pennsylvanian, I also voted for Hillary in the primary as I much preferred the idea of her rather than Barry as President.

I agree; his “elite snob” imitation is a direct shot at Joe Klein.

Let me make it clear.

Beck rips off Buckley’s style on his tv show.

Its funny for a while and then I change the channel.

Here's more ways to tell:

Would you applaud if you heard that Beck and O’Reilly try to have Mark Levin banned from Fox? When Beck does nothing for the troops but is cashing in on his tour while Hannity, who is relentless attacked, spends a fortune promoting our troops during Freedom Concerts? When Beck uses information straight out of Levin's book, or from WND, or from Brietbart, without giving credit? If you’ve answered yes to any of the above questions, then you’re likely a “Becker.” :)

You do remember correctly. Ann said she would support Hillary in the general if she was the nominee.

Stop it. You’re going to make me cry to prove I’m geniune. Mark Levin is geniune and so is Rush Limbaugh.
