Glenn Beck is no Ronald Reagan (but Rand Paul is a lot like his father)

Neither is Rush. Rush, Beck, others have done more to educate the uneducated American than any GOP politician. Levin is a threat to conservatism. He’s the nut. What there aren’t enough targets in the GOP for everyone?

Pshaw. Levin, the Lenin of Right Radio.

This doesn’t need to be done. We’re not children. If Beck tries leading his audience to a third party, the jig is up. If he doesn’t, then he’s helping our cause greatly. We’re perfectly capable of figuring out what he’s up to.

What Mark is doing is personal, unnecessary and ugly.

What I am against is parade jumping capitalists, those who jump in front of them, claim pure hearts and good intentions, and then sell you snake oil.

I’ve never heard himself describe himself as a “centrist”. Not once.

I’m not wishy washy.

I want the GOP to be conservative.

The GOP is not immune from criticism from conservatives.

The GOP elite/establishment has been and is PART OF the problem.

Those who say otherwise must be... what did the other poster say, “defending” their bank accounts?? or turf.

Levin should be attacking liberals and RINO’s. Attacking a conservative is not productive and does not further conservatism.

You will also notice I have not attacked Levin, snarky asides aside.

Jealousy? Pure unadulturated jealousy. "That should be me on that show! Me I tells ya".

The attacks on Glenn Beck seem to be coming straight from the country club. The same RINO’s who attack Ann Coulter and Sarah Palin.

Excuse me, the last time I checked, Mark Levin was the biggest attacker of Glenn Beck. I suppose you're calling him a RINO, right? And tell me, when has he ever attacked Ann Coulter or Sarah Palin? Never! You should think before you write!

“Both parties are the same comments are nonsense and like Mark says destructive to this Conservative ascendency.”

Isolating FDR, Carter, and Obama, I might agree. But if anyone can tell me how Nixon (”Only Nixon could go to China”) and Bush (the “Compassionate Conservative”) were better than Truman and Clinton (not The Clinton That Could Have Been [see: Hillarycare], but the Clinton that was), I’ll eat my hat. A tax cut here and a SCOTUS justice there (whose nominations, remember, Reagan and Bush I occassionally fumbled) just aren’t enough.

“That said, when was the last time you saw Rush, Hannity putting themselves in front of a chalkboard, as some sort of educator?”

Ah, I see, using a chalkboard means he’s posing as an academic. Right. It’s not just a wacky prop. He’s SERIOUS about it.

I am sure Beck would not send trolls to anonymously comment here on FR.

“Is Beck a Republican?”

No. Voted for McCain, though.

“Beck, the college dropout (oh wait, he didn’t bother taking that first class) couldn’t hold Mark Levin’s jock strap,”

Uh, please use a different measuring stick than a college degree.

The wealthiest man in the world is a college dropout.

Rush Limbaugh went to college for one semester.

We still should be able to do so. First of all, everyone knows what the non-declaration declerations mean. Secondly, whatever it is they were voting on, they knew, we knew, and Bush knew were meant to give Bush the green light. Nonetheless, libs will proceed to blame Bush for what happened, and the public will bite or not. Most often bite, since the president asked for it and he is the commander in chief.

Clearly, the Congress did authorize the Use of Force -- no bones about it. But be that as it may, I just think that a straight-up Declaration that "A State of War is formally Declared to exist" simply leaves opponents a lot less wiggle room, IMHO.

Personally, I would consider that to be a good thing.

Both Beck and Levin have done more to educate and inspire the public to conservative causes than most any freeper. Thank God for Mark Levin, Thank God for Glenn Beck, and to all those that work tirelessly to reach as many people as they can like today's Paul Reveres.

I suppose I could just go with the flow on FR if I just fell in line and attacked Beck since he is a raving nut... no I mean I hate Levin.. he is a danger to America .... or is it Hannity I'm thinking of? Ya... he doesn't do near as much good as the REEEEEEAL conservatives like the ones here on FR.... or it is the craaaazy Rush Limbaugh that is the worst? Ya thats it! None of these people do anything worth while in educating people about the principles of Liberty! Or is it only one of them is right and the rest are nut-jobs?
Im not sure.... I cant keep up with all the whiney perfect REEEEAAAL conservatives here on who to despise in the conservative talk radio community.

“I think he calls himself a ‘centrist libertarian’ (whatever the heck that means).”

I’m gonna teeter out on a limb and say it means he’s (according to the traditional political spectrum) on the left wing of the libertarian movement. That is, he is further to the center than most libertarians. Which, if you’re keeping track, has him bordering Republicans on the right. In other words, a mainstream libertarian.
