If we look across the Islamic world, things are getting stricter and stricter. In this video we see thousands of Turks take to the streets in support of the arrests of dozens of military leaders. Lets face it guys, “moderate” Islam is not coming to the rescue.

Your looking at moderate Islamists. The West just doesn’t get it. It’s amazing to me that European countries, and the UK that colonised Moslem countries, have welcomed them into their countries. They should know better after years of experience with the Moslems in their own countries.
So? You can get thousands to protest or support anything. What does the majority think of this?
Turkey, Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Iraq and eventually Saudi will all go the way of Iran because Islamists know America will no longer fight them with Obie in charge.

Turkey, a member of NATO, has long been considered a stable and reliable nation with the military in its traditional role of preserving Turkey as a secular state (started by Attaturk). This sounds like the Islamists are gaining the upper hand, and one of the few sane Muslim states is becoming more like some of the less sane ones.
I lived in Turkey in the early 70s so nothing going on over there surprises me.....
With any luck, this will cause the military to crush the islamists yet again.

They got about 38% of the popular vote but managed to turn that into 60% of the seats in parlament and near total control of the government.

True enough, but more then long enough to cause permanent damage.
