There are multiple ways to identify people want a job as being here legally, a national ID card is not needed. Granted the issue of liberal states doing their best to muddy the water with their socialist egalitarianism has to be addressed, but a set of MVD issued travel documents is not the answer.

Without determining that person A is indeed person A, what are the “multiple ways” by which we can determine whether he is here legally? Before determining a person’s status, you have to know for sure he is the person he claims to be.

Just curious. Have you read Jonah’s book? I seriously doubt it, based on your comments on this thread.
He does not claim modern American liberals are the moral equivalent of Nazis, as you seem to believe and as the entire leftist/liberal community assumed when the book was released.
The entire point of the book is that Fascism is a much broader term than Nazism. It essentially is a form of state-worship and is not necessarily racist (the Italian fascists weren’t, at first) or incredibly violent.
Jonah’s whole point is that America is heading in the direction of a kinder, gentler (liberal) fascism, but still a form of fascism. The rest of the west is already farther down the road in that direction.
His choice of title and cover art was obviously intended to be provocative, at which is was extremely effective. If you read the book I think you will agree with most of what he says.
