Between the hours of 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM, I will be observing Earth Hour in a Conservative fashion that would make Thomas Edison smile with excitement and wonderment. In short, all the lights that are never on during the Night; will be bright and shining tonight! Call it a peasants revolt, because I refuse to submit to Al Gore proposals.

One ~could~ begin to wonder whether it’s “safer” to have all of one’s lights on or off.
We have some dedicated, libtard neighbors across the street and we light up our house just to PO them.
How stupid.................are we supposed to sit in dark and curse the darkness
I haven’t found out the time yet - but I expect the news will be talking about it.
Fire up the dishwasher while washing a load of clothes. Have the AC on .. even fire up the fireplace [if electric]. or gas]. And time to vacuum while the TV and radio are on.
8:30 local time.

Well .. I don’t have a dishwasher, but I could do laundry, and while I don’t have a fireplace, I really need to vacuum.

Is there anyway to put high volume speakers on the garbage disposal? That would be cool for an hour!

I can't stay long. I just came in to check FR news. I have to get back outside to tend to the old pile of burning tires in my back yard. I don't want the fire to dry up the raw sewage I'm dumping into the local stream....see ya!
