US Preparing to Join The Alliance Of Civilizations

Associated Press is reporting that the Obama administration is preparing to join the Alliance of Civilizations (AOC), a group which is represented in the US and Europe by individuals sympathetic to the global Muslim Brotherhood. U.S. officials say the Obama administration is preparing to join an international advisory group that the United States has largely shunned over fears it would adopt anti-Israeli and anti-Western stances. The officials say the administration plans to announce soon it will begin a formal relationship with the Alliance of Civilizations. The alliance is a United Nations-backed organization that seeks to ease strains between societies and cultures, particularly the West and Islam, and promote better ties. However, the U.S. boycotted the group when it was founded in 2005 over concerns it would become a forum for bashing Israel and the United States. The officials say those concerns have now been addressed. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the move publicly.
In April, U.S. President Barack Obama attended an annual forum of the AOC in Istanbul.
According to the AOC website, the AOC ¡°High Level Group Members¡± in the U.S. and Western Europe are:
*Prof. John Esposito (United States) *Rabbi Arthur Schneier (United States) *Hubert V¨¦drine (France) *Karen Armstrong (United Kingdom)
Esposito, a Georgetown University academic, has been a long-time supporter of the global Muslim Brotherhood and has espoused views consistent with Brotherhood doctrine.

The administration apparently assumes it has much to yield for nothing in return.....another “redistribution”, “social justice” exercise.
We are. But, I don’t believe he is the AC. I think his role is to take us down to the point that we are no longer a world power and Israel is on her own. Under such a scenario, she will be willing to sign a peace agreement with the AntiChrist himself, and without the gospel that our nation puts forth, most of the world will gladly come along for the same ride.
I always find it interesting when a group which wants to destroy all the values held by ‘a thing’, appropriate the name of that thing in their organizational name:
IE:
Organizing For America seeks to destroy traditional American Values.
Alliance of Civilizations seeks to destroy civilization.
etc.

The Barack Obama administration has decided to lift a ban preventing Muslim Scholar Professor Tariq Ramadan from entering the United States. Ramadan, an Egyptian currently living in Switzerland, is a leading member of Europe’s Muslim Brotherhood branch and the grandson of the movement’s founder Hassan al-Banna. Obama just lifted the ban on these people in January...The Muslim Brotherhood people are all over the ME creating mayhem...they’re like the mafia.
