Do you happen to know if she was born in Lebanon? Also, was/is her extended Arab family Christian or were/are they Islamists??
Thanks.

Hitler was a "Johnny-come-lately" actually. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem,
Amin Haj al Husseini, is in a very much longer line of Jew-haters and killers. Hitler simply borrowed from these Islamic Jew-haters, since they have a much longer history and more of a "basis" for their Jew-hating, than Hitler did.
And also Yasser Arafat continued in that tradition, long after Hitler was gone, too ...

"Wasn't Danny Thomas from a Lebanese Christian family?" Yes, he was Roman Catholic. That's probably the minority Chistian faith of Lebanese immigrants, with the majority being Greek Orthodox, or other Eastern Right members. There are many Greek Orthodox of Lebanese descent that are VERY supportive of Israel. There are also many people who immigrate from Lebanon (especially in the second half of the last century), that claim that they are Christian because they didn't want the hassle of being called Muslim, when if fact they're really just non-practicing Muslims.
Now, I don't pretend that Helen Thomas is a Muslim. In fact, I'm quite sure like most Washington journalists, she's an atheist. But, if I had to guess, I'd wager she wasn't raised in a family with a strong Greek Orthodox commitment, even though that's probably what her family claimed they were.

Absolutely NOT.
First, there is no such thing as Palestine, and secondly and more importantly, that land belongs to the JEWS. The Promised Land in JEWISH land forever.
To: Frantzie
78% of American (liberal) Jews voted for this and they still LOVE the muslim. 78% would vote for Adolf Hitler if he ran as a Demcorat and bashed Sarah Palin. This is why I can no longer attend Jewish occasions with my liberal relatives, along with a growing number of my conservative (Orthodox Jewish) cousins. We used to tolerate it, but Barack Hussein Obama was the last straw. They slammed Palin and praised Obama all of 2008. Last Rosh Hashana dinner it erupted into a knock down drag out, and we told the left-wing Jews what traitors they are for supporting this Jew-hating skunk. Every Jew must confront their own relatives and synogogue, JCC, Federation folks, and DEMAND they denounce Obama and reject his policies against Israel.

Palestine was the name given to the province of Judea by the Romans after a series of Jewish revolts. It was designed to be in insult to the Jews. The root of the word “Palestine” is Philistine, the ancient enemy of Israel. Many Arabs living in the region called Palestine claim to trace their ancestery to the Philistines, and therefore they have an older claim on the land than even the Jews do. This is bogus. The Philistines were thought to be Indo-European Aryan, remnents of the Sea Peoples, while Arabs are Semitic. I’ve found that most Arabs who believe such nonsense are too thick to even consider the historical argument.

And they would continue blowing themselves up, arguing over whether Mohammed was a goat-humping pedophile or a child-humping zoophile. Mohammedism is NOT a religion, it is a cult of hate.

Really sad. There are other patholigical psycho libs like Catholic union types and other union types like that too. They would not only vote for Hitler but they would re-elect him. ;-) Not really funny - more sick than anything else.
I know conservative Jews who left Europe because of Islam fears and it will happen here now. I know conservative Jews who practically tackled people before the election warning them. One guy at a gun store warned people how bad things would get.
Sad you have to have these knock downs on religious family dinners but these people are insane. I have seen Catholic union types with the same sickness.
“Jew-hating skunk.” Great line and sadly it is the truth.

Clue to the Pig Thomas: Mean Zionists
purchased that land, first under the laws of the Ottoman Turks, and then under the laws of the British Mandate. In 1948 when the UN, the f@$%&*g UN, decided that the area of the British Mandate should be divided into areas of Jewish and Arab administration, it didn't force anyone to sell or abandon their land. The Arabs did that. They forced the Jews out their area; and they told their Arab brothers to voluntarily evacuate the Jewish area. The ones that didn't evacuate are still there in Israel unless they have since decided to sell their property according to the laws of the State of Israel. Abandoned property was treated under laws of the state, just as it is everywhere, albeit under varying rules. About 150,000 Arabs stayed in what became Israel. Today there are about a million Arabs in Israel, all of whom are free to the leave for the lush freedom of Jordan, Syria, Egypt, etc., but for some reason they do not.
