Posted on 07/06/2010 9:12:22 AM PDT by Federalist Patriot
Here is video from Morning Joe today, where Mike Barnicle said Nevada voters would be embarrassed to have GOP Candidate Sharron Angle represent them in the U.S. Senate. Barnicle said Angle sounds like a mental patient.
Chris Matthews chimed in and raised the specter of Dallas meaning the Kennedy Assasination in pointing out Angles support of Gun Rights, seeking to twist her words into her advocating an armed revolt against the government.
This is actually a good sign. It shows just how threatened Democrats Barnicle and Matthews feel about Harry Reid losing the Nevada Senate seat. The more fearful they are, the more shrill Democrats become!

“Mental Patient”?! Wow! If Angle had said that her house would be burnt to the ground. Liberals can say anything. Free speech! ~sarc
MSNBC = at max occupancy levels mental ward....they should know firsthand.....=.=
The 3 Arizona viewers of MSNBC probably weren’t going to vote for her anyway, so it doesn’t matter what these idiots say.
Yet another “original thought” from Mike Barnicle.
yet these same brain dead children believe the garbage that comes from the mouth of obama....got it....
voters would be embarrassed to have GOP Candidate Sharron Angle represent them in the U.S. Senate. Barnicle said Angle sounds like a mental patient.
How about the Dems’ Al Franken (stein)...what does he sound like???
I wouldn’t know what Barnicle sounds like, since I never watch PMSNBC. Little Chrissy Mathews just sounds like a putz.
llLO! Mental case? consider the source!
Goodness Gracious....MSNBC folk are deteriorating before our eyes. History is recording it.
Surely there are competent neurologists/gerontologists in NY who can prescribe some Alzheimer pills or something.
I guess it is okay to call him "scum" since he has set the precedent by saying Angle sounds like a mental patient.
BTW were are the liberal activists now...where are the protests about negativity toward mental patients???????????
Harry Reid is certifiable “nuts!”
as opposed to Al Franken?
Barnicle - Reid and you are the mental patients. $110 trillion of PROMISES for healthcare, Social Securitiy, etc. PLUS $13 trillion in debt?
The Tea Party EXPRESS backed her so I hope they prove right. I do believe the other woman running would have beaten Harry Reid.
I am hoping for a positive outcome but I sure hope the Tea Party Express didn’t give us 4 more years of Harry Reid. I’ll be greatly disappointed if that’s the case.
It started innocently enough - Mike Barnicle, far too busy to do any real work, churned out one of his patented, inane “I was just thinking” pieces, probably in about 15 minutes.
Only it turned out that eight to ten of the oh-so-witty comments bore a striking resemblance to similar comments in George Carlin’s book BrainDroppings (the exact number depends on whether you believe the Globe or the Herald). A Howie Carr fan dropped a dime to the Herald, which, naturally, promptly wrote about it [See How the story broke for more details].
When confronted by Globe Editor Matt Storin (in a phone call from his vacation hideway in Europe), Barnicle said he had never read Carlin’s book. But then somebody found a pesky videotape of him on “Chronicle” promoting the book as “a yuk on every page.” Oh, yeah, that, Barnicle said. He then explained that even though he was on videotape recommending the book, he hadn’t actually read it. And he refused Storin’s request that he do a Patricia Smith and resign.
Harry reid is CERTIFIABLE!!
In their view, being opposed to statism and supporting freedom is a mental illness. So what do they think of the Founding Fathers?
it was revealed that he had made up yet another column, a 1995 tear-jerker about a black child and a white one who became friends when they were both hospitalized with cancer.
Apparently, Mr. Barnicle has never heard himself on tape?
BTW, Mr. Barnicle was quite capable of spinning some yarns when he was on staff with “The Boston Globe”.
Mr. Barnicle should not be heaving stones, since he, for years now, has lived in a glass house.
I certainly hope not since she is not from Arizona.
Morning Joe has turned unto a formula show. Joe says something RINO, Mika grimaces while shaking her head before giving the Democrat ‘talking points’, and they go to the confused white guy (Barnacle or Pat J Buchanan) for a restatement of the obvious, before finishing with Eu(uh)gene(uh) Rob(uh)in(uh)son who can usually fit five or more ‘uh’s into any sentence as he restates what Mika said. Thank goodness college kids are not watching ‘Morning Joe’ as they would end up starting a drinking game where they would do a shot every time Eugine Robinson makes an ‘uh’.
Even worse...it would be six years not four. Yieks!!! Six years is a long time.
Very true. I couldn’t handle 6 more years of that creep.
tee hee...mike who joe had to stop in his tracks and finish the interview. Remember? ole mike went ballistic. he needs to calm down. mental patient Angle? Think again Mike.
Apparently not. She's leading hairy reed by a healthy margin.
But, Barnicle's comment reveals how delusional the DEems are getting over their looming loss of the Congress.
THIS from a party that elected Al Franken!!!
What??? Me??? What did you misunderstand? Where do you think I wrote in support of Barnicle and what he said, or Reid or any of them?
A plagiarist and a close personal friend of the Kennedys. I expect nothing less.
Here it comes... from now ‘til November...
When the Boston Globe fired Barnicle for plagiarism, Boston talker Howie Carr gleefully proclaimed that
a boil upon the ass of Boston journalism has been lanced.
Mike Barnicle is hearing voices again.
And so it begins or had the smears already started?
The Reid campaign will be as dirty as Boxer’s in CA.
LOL a Boston dinosaur media plagiarist like Barnicle is going to pass judgment on a senate candidate from Arizona?! That would be all I need to vote for Angle ;)
Coming from a state that put Ted Kennedy and John Kerry in the senate, he would know.
EVERY conservative sounds like a ‘mental patient’ to Mike Barnicle.
Your post was one of the funniest I’ve read on FR......and I’ve been around since ‘97
I wonder where he read that
Projection and a pathological animus are the norm with liberals. I believe they are mentally ill themselves, so it is easy for them to project their disease on others.
In OH, same thing, they are going negative on Kasich in JULY. This has never happened before, my party guys tell me, which is a great sign. It means they are desperate.
Even here at FR there are a few die-hard Angle haters who were pushing all kinds of false smear tactics comments relentlessly.
The Tea Party Express is planning a series of positive TV ads to help Angle.
Here's part of a recent email from them:
Senator Harry Reid continues his vicious attacks against the Tea Party conservative who is challenging him for U.S. Senate: Sharron Angle.
Sharron Angle urgently needs our help!
Since Angle's victory in the GOP Primary on June 8th, however, Harry Reid has launched numerous TV and radio ads smearing Angle. He has already spent nearly $1 MILLION in TV and radio ads smearing Sharron Angle. He's called her an extremist, he says she wants to hurt seniors and retirees. He's even attacked her religion (Sharron Angle is a lifelong Southern Baptist).
And as a result of Harry Reid's dirty, negative campaign, Sharron Angle's negatives have skyrocketed to 47% in a recent poll - and Harry Reid is now closing in on Angle in the head-to-head polls.
Various groups have been running anti-Reid ads in Nevada, but as of yet there's not been a single pro-Angle ad running in the state. We've got to change that. We have to help Sharron Angle prevail in this vitally important election.
So we are going to go back up on the TV airwaves to help Sharron Angle out in her hour of need.
This barnicle guy looks and acts like someone they found sleeping on their doorstep and has been outed quite well on this thread as a third-rate wannabe pundit.
